Freddy and Kendra the racist won. Damn...I was hoping for Jon and Kris the whole way.

The next season, however, starts in little over three weeks....and Amber and Boston Rob are on it?! Booyah!

I'm interested in selling my youngest daughter into slavery as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. She's a Georgetown sophomore, speaks fluent Italian, always cleared the table when it was her turn. What would a good price for her be? While thinking about that, can I ask another? My Chief of Staff Leo McGarry insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly says he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself or is it okay to call the police? Here's one that's really important because we've got a lot of sports fans in this town: touching the skin of a dead pig makes one unclean. Leviticus 11:7. If they promise to wear gloves, can the Washington Redskins still play football? Can Notre Dame? Can West Point? Does the whole town really have to be together to stone my brother John for planting different crops side by side? Can I burn my mother in a small family gathering for wearing garments made from two different threads? Think about those questions, would you? One last thing: while you may be mistaking this for your monthly meeting of the Ignorant Tight-Ass Club, in this building, when the President stands, nobody sits." --- President Jed Bartlett, The West Wing

Kris and Jon annoyed me. I know that's not the way most people feel, but they were just too chirpy and chipper and overall not very entertaining. Probably the wrong way to go about looking at it, but eh. I can't stand them. Kendra seems much nicer in real life (or at least via e-mail) than she did on TV, but then again we didn't really trade thoughts on Third World contries or anything. Ultimately the season will always be overshadowed by the horrifying Jonathan/Victoria relationship anyway, so whatever. Not their best season, but still a good show.

I was rooting for Lori and Bolo, but in the end I knew they couldn't win, the physical teams always do well to start, but self destruct when the race turns to strategy. I was shocked to see Adam and Rachel there at the end, though, they weren't particularily lucky, they were whiny and relatively weak, but they still barrled through to a 3rd place finish with nothing but the horns and Adam's vague resemblance to Jeff Hardy to guide them.

Looking forward to Season 7, it'll be odd but fun to have Rob and Amber on there. At least I think it will. I'm not really sure I'd like "Washed Up Reality Stars" to become a recurring gimmick on the show though. Three weeks seems like such a short time to be running them, though.

One other note I'll throw in: CBS is talking about running Season 8 as a fully fledged season long show, with several more teams and rumor has it, more than one path to the finish line. If it goes badly, it'd be too overwhelming (now way to get to know the teams until halfway through), or there'd be one obvious path that every team would take, or it'd just grind on too long. If it goes well, it could be really epic. One way to solve that first problem though would be to make that season the long awaited "TAR All-Stars" season, then most people would already know all the teams. Until then though, I'll just eagerly await the DVD releases starting later this year.

Freddy & Kendra winning really bummed me out. They had an air about them from the very beginning that just rubbed me the wrong way. It won't bother me one bit if I never see them on my TV again. I also didn't have a whole lot of love for Haydn & Aaron and actually gave Mrs. Dunk a fist bump when she broke her key in the lock. I wanted to see Lori & Bolo make it to the Final 4 but when they didn't, I pulled for the least annoying couple in Kris & Jon.

Season 7 looks to be good and the addition of Rob & Amber will pull in viewers to the show that normally would not watch. Love them or hate them, people will watch them. CBS is also planning on airing their wedding this summer so why not get them back in the public eye again beforehand. I had also read that CBS is putting this edition of the show on so quickly because they want to make the show a 2 times a year program like Survivor so it was either air it now or wait until the Fall as they were not going to use it in a summer slot again. No matter when they show it, Mrs Dunk & I will be watching.

The thoughts of my wife and I exactly. We really were pulling for Kris and Jon. When did it become fashionable to dislike people for being nice, courteous and a pleasure to be around, Matt?

And.... what the hell is Aaron thinking in proposing to Hadyn? What a freaking psycho bitch! My wife gives them four years before they will be divorced.

Mrs. pieman is being generous by giving them 4 years.

"Dating actors?" Would any casting director in their right mind hire Hayden after this audition?

I was on the Kris/Jon bandwagon, too. Yeah, they were nice and boring...but they played well, and, let's face it, Kris was hot.

It was good to see the future Mrs. Bullitt again last night. I've missed you, Lena.

Given Boston Rob's performance on Survivor AS, I fully expect him to somehow convince a team to yield themselves, thus allowing himself/Amber to advance in the race.

Three weeks is way too short. This whole run of three seasons in one year feel completely bonkers after they were a show that may or may not get a chance to run it's episodes during the summer. I prefer this way rather than the last way, but all the peoples and places blend together after a while and you could use a longer breather.

I'm sure they want finals at the end of Feburary Sweeps and May Sweeps, and that's why things are what they are. Sweeps````

I think this was only the second one where they started and ended in the same city (first season, they did the same with NY) and as a person who's spent a little time in Chicago, it was fun to keep saying "hey! I know where that's at. That's a good place" or "I love that moving walkway."

Except the park. The park's new. I tried googling it during the show and couldn't find good directions.

It didn't get played up because there were people yelling in multiple languages or people completely lost, but Kirs and Jon must've had a really unfortuante cab ride between Watertower and Geno's East; if they were on the same train as Kendra and Freddy, they shouldn't have gotten to the pizzara so much later. (Unless they weren't on the same train.)

There's articles around the 'net about Season 8's gimmick. No word yet about Multiple Paths or the like, but the main idea will be to hae less teams but more people on a team. Families/related people of 4 competing together. I dunno if it's going to work; if there's more non-elimination legs as a result, I'm pretty sure it won't.

I don't think they NEED Rob and Amber on Amazing Race to promote their wedding - the five hundred ads they'll have on CBS (mostly during Survivor) would seem to adquetely do that job. And, as their ratings have set new personal highs each of the last two (three?) seasons, they don't actually need Amber and Rob more than they needed the awful Big Brother people.

However, if they're deadset on assigning heels, the dynamic of 'greedy winners looking for another win' is a lot more pleasurable than the acts we got this season.

There's no show I have less desire to watch than Jon and Victoria talk to Dr. Phil.

Aaron must love Hayden very dearily if he's able to look all the bad parts. Or the ring was nonreturnable and he thought he might as well use it.

I’ll admit that at the beginning, I was pulling for Hayden and Aaron. They seemed like a cute couple and their competitive spirit was pretty strong. Basically, I felt they had it ‘together’ from the start of the race. Oh, how things changed? Hayden went super nuts and it went beyond the point of return. She just completely burned out on Aaron and he was just a good guy over taking the 4 hour penalty. I was literally screaming at him for proposing to her, but good luck to them anyway. In the end, I despised her so much, I couldn’t stand him either. I think it started with her calling Bolo short and telling him to ‘lay off the steroids’. Yeah… It was right about there.

Some where during this race, I realized how strong Jon and Kris were, but they just irked me because they had formed that alliance with Hayden and Aaron. I know it’s smart to have alliances sometimes, but I wanted neither team of that alliance to make it. So, by association, Jon and Kris were out, with me.

At some point, I started to pull for Adam and Rebecca, honestly. They were the underdogs and the fact that they had gotten past the wrestlers, who started off strong, earned them some of my respect. Their problem was that they were both immature at the start and didn’t start to gel until they got closer to the money. Remember when they got their clue at the Xian Tomb, but ran the other way to throw off Jon and Kris and found themselves in first place? If they hadn’t fought so much and played smart like that from the beginning, they would have been considered a real threat.

Which brings me to Freddy and Miss ‘I’m so tired of looking at these ghettos’ Kendra. I don’t know about anyone else, but when they turned the corner to win the Race, my mind just echoing “I can’t believe I stayed up until 11:00 for this crap!”. Freddy wasn’t that much higher on my favored list with his threats to all the competitors that he was going to kick the ass of whomever was responsible (Gus, Hera’s Dad) for the gate hitting him in the head. He looked like an ass and while he had a right to be upset, him threatening everyone like a raving madman was wrong.

I’ll just say that I loved hating Jonathan, loved the Don and Mary Jean (the older people) and their genuine love for each other and like Lori and Bolo when they are fully dressed. I don’t care about how soon the next season is coming, I’ll still watch. And not for Boston Rob and Amber, in their quest to stretch out that 14th minute, but for the Ron Young, who was taken hostage during the early days of the war. That should be interesting.

Ever the Army Brat. :)

Nick Rivers- Listen to me Hillary. I'm not the first guy who fell in love with a woman that he met at a restaurant who turned out to be the daughter of a kidnapped scientist only to lose her to her childhood lover who she last saw on a deserted island who then turned out fifteen years later to be the leader of the French underground.

Hillary Flammond- I know. It all sounds like some bad movie.

Except Hayden and Aaron made an alliance with Freddy and Kendra, not Kris and Jon.

I had never watched this show up until this season, and I have to say that I liked it. Yeah there were some jackasses on it, but I guess that's to be expected of every reality show. Hayden became my favorite one to watch because her meltdowns were things of beauty. Watching her make that baby cry was priceless.

I too was disappointed that Kris and Jon didn't win, because out of the final four teams they were the only likable ones who kept their heads together for the majority of the race.

I probably would watch the next Race if the two famewhores from Survivor weren't on it. Anybody want to place under/over bets on that marriage?

Phil announced today on the CBS early show that, two seasons from now (Season 10 of the show) will be TAR: Families with teams of four. He did say that they would have a very broad definition of the word "family" though. Next season (with Rob and Amber) and the season after that (casting now) will be in the standard 2 person team format.

It's not fashionable, and I'm content to be in the minority on this one. Frankly, I got sick of their oversweetness by the fourth episode, and couldn't stand them since. Also, they rarely seemed interested in being actually competetive, I would have liked it had the shown a little more urgency or emotion. To me, as a viewer, it just makes me roll my eyes and wait for the teams that, while they may be fighting, at least seem interested in winning the race and not having and "Amazing Experience".

I have liked a lot of the "nice" teams in the past, Chip and Kim, Cha Cha Cha, Momily, but at least those teams had personality other than "nice".
