Ok, let me just start by saying that yes, this did suck. But those guys were all so old, it's not really their fault. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has a list of the order in which they were eliminated from the ring. All of the recappers I can find refused to recap it, because of how much it sucked. Maybe someone who has it on tape can tell me the order in which they were eliminated? Please?

According to This Link the order of elimination is:Repo Man, Gobbeldy Gooker, Tugboat, Earthquake, Kimchee, Luke, Duke, Goon, Volkoff, Butch, Doink, Hayes, One Man Gang, Kamala, Brother Love, Cornette, Slaughter, Hillbilly Jim. The Iron Sheik wins, but Sgt Slaughter comes back in and does the Cobra Clutch on the Sheik.

Yea, it wasnt that great, but it was kinda old school like the older Royal Rumbles.. where people wouldnt do crazy bumps over the top, just be tossed out, although Akeem/One Man Gang did a pretty crazy dive over the top.

Its just good, clean fun. :)

Don't know about the actual match itself, the intros, however, are just nostalgic masterpieces. And you have the Brain and Oukerland on commentary. For this one time, it was pretty entertaining.

What is the deal, though, over on wrestlemaniahistory.com where you can't get the stream of the intros to play on MediaPlayer!? Anyone?

The Battle Royal was great. I will never forget Brain's statement on Sgt. Slaughter after seeing him shoot a gun on the video screen:

"He's shooting blanks now."

Priceless.

You're in a desert, walking along in the sand when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise. It's crawling towards you. You reach down and flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over. But it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.

Brain starting the broadcast saying to Mean Gene "And you know something, Tony, I think..." was spectacular.

The best exchange during that match:

Brain: The Repo Man! The other day, he repossessed his own car. This man is nuts!

Gene: About four years ago, he got my mother-in-law's.

Brain: About five years ago, everyone got your mother-in-law.

Random observation: Kendrick had Blackbeard's flag on the back of his trunks for some reason. I thought the show was mostly just there, but it had a few highlights.
