According to Rudy in the Sports on TV portion of the Monday issue of the USA Today, I Max has been canceled, with the last broadcast being on February 18th. Max Kellerman, yet another person who left ESPN for FSN only to fall into the abyss. Now, is there any possibility that they could take Stuart Scott?

Let Stuart Scott go, and put the immensely more talented Fred Hickman in his place. Back when he was on CNNs Sports show, he was nothing but class. He deserves better than the 3AM sportscenter slot.

Hey Max, you can always come back to Brooklyn Time Warner Cable Public Access where you made your bones (best pure boxing show I've seen on tv). At least they allowed you to put over UFC.

This somewhat surprises me, because I thought since they sunk so much into Max that they would give him at least two years. The show had gotten better as it got older, but I never knew when the show was on. I know that Around The Horn at PTI are on at 4 and 4:30 Central every weekday. I still have no idea what time I,Max comes on. That may have been part of the problem with the show, and why it didn't "gain a foothold with viewers."

Well one of the problems like a lot shows that get cancelled is that they moved it. I used to watch it everyday at 5 and then suddenly it wasn't there anymore, and I never figured out when exactly it was on.

It's a Fox Sports Network thing - each regional network can run the national shows when they want, but all the commericals for the national shows are done nationally. You end up with commericals that say 'check your local listings', and if no one does...

Of course, y'all could've choosen one of the 500 ways to look up when a show is on if you really wanted to see it.

Reali's not still the intern host, or we could have funny/insane speculating. It would be pretty funny to see Max fill in for him for a day...as Stat Boy.

I guess Michael Holley will be calling his old boss at the Boston Globe soon.
