HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISE (EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T PUT YOUR BIRTHDAY INTO YOUR PROFILE)
When the ground hog saw this tie, he got scared and went back into his hole, ensuring six more weeks of winter...and eighteen more weeks of people telling me how much I surely must hate "that Minnesota weather." Which I don't, by the way, not that anyone will ever believe me...but it isn't the first time people have just assumed without actually hearing it from me...but I digress.
This tie is truly magnificent (MODO) but alas, its maker will remain a mystery as the only tag available simply says "100% POLYESTER RN 17279" Now, I could PROBABLY extrapolate a manufacturer from the textile number but that involves slightly more interest than I have time at the moment. (Perhaps in a couple hours at lunch...or, maybe, I'll go eat some lunch instead)
I bought a new shirt Saturday - it looks like a tablecloth (blue checked) but for the white collar and cuffs. Do you know how hard it is to find white collared shirts these days? That's because NOBODY likes them except me! Anyway, it's ALSO enough to scare a ground hog, which makes it a good match for the tie and the combined effect surely makes me a specimen of sartorial splendor. I think John McLaughlin used that one first. Wow, I'm really just typing to fill up space, aren't I? Okay, BYE

Hey, SWEET - and it's local! (Although I have to say, I'm not sure I'd buy that this tie was made in or after 1998.)

Originally posted by MedallaGuyCRZ, I've been wondering how the lunch situation is at the new job? Still doing the Hot Pockets? Lunchroom at work place? W's gots to know!
Occasionally there are lots of people here to get trained, and lunch is provided to them....and then leftovers miraculously appear...and then disappear in about 5-10 minutes, so you have to be on your horse for THAT.
I'm attempting to eat "better" (ha) since taking on the job, but that usually just means I'm driving out to get some fresh fast food instead of staying in and microwaving my own. Today, I had SUBWAY because I want to become HALF the Jared....except I'm more like the Jared that enjoys cheese and mayonnaise on his sandwiches.

Thank you for the birthday wishes and thank you for the lovely birthday presents (yes I know I already thanked you, but just in case you don't pass that along to Kim she can read it here)
