From Meltzer (liveaudiowrestling.com) ...

The WrestleMania challenger for the WWE Title will be decided via tournament. If Batista jumps to SD, the Title match will be JBL/Big Show v Batista v tourney winner.

Booker T beats Eddie Guerrero in a tournament match this week. Booker knows his tag team partner's cheating antics way too well, so the antics don't work. Booker attacks Eddie post-match - it may or may not have been taped.

Next week's tournament matches (from Japan): Angle v Mysterio, Cena v Orlando.

Match results:
Angle over Nunzio
Mysterio over Jindrak
Show over Bashams
Taker DCOR Dupree

Backstage segments have yet to be filmed, it seems.

I'm pretty sure NOTHING's been filmed yet - I was under the impression that the actual taping is tonight in Honolulu as part of THEIR "Supershow" so as to not confuse any viewers who might wonder why Smackdown is taking place on the RAW set...

maybe your standards are a bit high.

They probably just switched the graphics on the Tron.

But, if you hadn't moved, you'd be able to tell us first-hand. :-)

The Honolulu (wwe.com) Supershow sounds too much like a house show, and has the same exact card as the Anchorage (wwe.com) Super(house)show.

The SmackDown tapings (matches at least) were done last night. I was suprised to see the TitanTron last night, as I thought they'd use some generic set that could be used for SmackDown as well. Oh well. They always say that RAW is the a-brand, so...

At least they did black ropes, so SmackDown won't look totally RAW-ized.

The answer to WWE's financial problems...

Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.

I wonder how (or if) they'll explain WHY Smackdown is usin Raw's set.

It almost feels like the latter day Nitro/Thunder tapings. :-)

I've seen the following movies so far this year:
Coach Carter

Some have been changed recently because of injury: Brock Lesnar, Chris Benoit and Edge vs. Kurt Angle and Team Angle from No Way Out 2003. Edge was pulled because of injury and this became a handicap. Matt Hardy vs. Zach Gowen from Summerslam 2003.
