WOW...graphics are looking incredible! I do hope Gigante really makes the control system work up to par to the graphics/presentation. Click Here (xbox.ign.com)
Based on presentation alone, I would really be unhappy if this turned out to have the worst control system ever. I'm knocking on wood that it's at least better than Raw 2. The boards at Gamefaqs say that the countering is just like Smackdown! HCTP and Smackdown! vs. Raw, but in all honesty, I'm not sure how reliable they are.
Hold nothing sacred and you'll never be dissapointed. Especially not this statement.
It looks good, but I'm still holding out for a remake of Nintendo 64's WWF No Mercy. It's still me and my friends wrestling game of choice. Since the Nintendo DS is practically a portable N64 I've got my fingers crossed.

Well they just developed Def Jam: Fight for NY multiplatform, and the MUSCLE games on GameCube.
It's not so much AKI, the game developers have to sign on AKI to make the game engine. EA got AKI for the Def Jam games, and Bandai for the MUSCLE games.
