WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon and former WWE Champion, Steve Austin are scheduled to appear together on FSN's Best Damn Sports Show Period in conjunction with "The Road To WrestleMania 21" which begins January 21. This most likely means that Steve Austin will appear at WrestleMania 21.
As we reported Wednesday, Hulk Hogan was backstage at SmackDown Tuesday and spoke with Shane McMahon. The negotiations to have Hulk Hogan appear at WrestleMania 21 have begun.
Could we finally see Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan?

Besides the broadcast itself, the rest is 1wrestling speculation, but the Hogan rumor has been flying all over the internet from doing the Hall of Fame to tagging with Rock or facing Rock in LA, I'd be happy with any of those three scenerioes except it will probably be not as good as the first one and I kinda like the second so, we will see. It will als be weird to see Austin and McMahon together and not in a ring.

Ooh, on the contrary, I'd be thrilled by a Hogan vs. Austin match-up. For a variety of reasons, the biggest of which is that the old, dust-covered mark in me has always wanted a dream match like that to happen. Hogan vs. Rock 1 was good, but it'd be nothing compared to a Hogan vs. Austin at Wrestlemania match-up.
For what it's worth.

I think it'd be the other way around, but I'd still like to see them do it just to do it, for my own personal interest in the show. If there's any year to overshadow the title matches and current headliners, this is the one!
Oh come on! *What?! Whats wrong with- *What?! What I mean to.. *What?! Is... ok, yes- yes it is bad.
But seriously folks, this is great news! Maybe Im just a sucker for nostalgia.. Okay, I definitely AM.. but to see Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestle again, with no less than Mecha-Hollywood Hogan (because he now has a metal leg and cant be called "Hulk" on WWE programming... :( ) -would be awesome, sure; they're worn out- but they can definitely pull this off and like JustinShapiro said- "this is the best year to overshadow the painful crappiness of the present with the entertainment of the past, at least at Wrestlemania" (okay- maybe those werent his words...) but nevertheless- its true.
Oh.. when's the Best Damn Sports Show on? Can anyone please tell me?
Could Hogans negotiations have nothing to do with wrestling and all to do with who sings the National Anthem?
Doesnt his daughter sing a bit? To be in front of a worldwide wrestling audience , with the name Hogan would give her recognition beyond what she has now IMO.
But back on topic... do we really want to see them wrestle and remind us once again why they should stay retired? Time defeats all men but memories defeat the time of man.
What I wanted to see was Austin vs. Goldberg, and they didn't do that. What's the point of Austin/Hogan? No torch to be passed or anything. Ship's sailed, man.
Matt Freakin' Hardy, baby. By the way, MVP's reign (which began when he defeated Chris Benoit at Judgment Day on 5/20/07) ends at 343 days, the longest reign in the WWE history of the U.S.
