So I'm keeping track of everybody's matches, and I've gotten back to April 28, 2001, just before Backlash. So I'm looking through my list, and I see three different jobbers named Steele.
We've got Race Steele, who wrestled on May 19 (vs. Billy Gunn), and on May 5 (w/ Steve Boz vs. the Radicalz);
Then there's Ray Steele, who wrestled on April 28 (vs. Hardcore Holly);
and finally there's Rod Steele, who wrestled on December 22 (vs. Spike Dudley).
Are these 3 different guys, or are two of them the same guy, or even all three the same guy?
Not surprisiningly, Steel(e) is a popular indy worker name.
I'd bet they are different people.
"The best reason for committing loathsome & detestable acts -and let's face it, I am considerably something of an expert in the field - is purely for their own sake. Monetary gain is all very well, but it dilutes the tastes of wickedness to a lower level that is obtainable by anyone will an overdeveloped sense of avarice. True and baseless evil is as rare as the purest good - and we all know how rare THAT is." - Acheron Hades, THE EYRE AFFAIR by Jaspar Fforde
I wouldn't be surprised if Race Steele and Ray Steele were th same guy. Every time he's announced on HWA TV, I have to think for a moment to remember which one it is. The names always blend together, with the sibilant 'c' and the 's', but it's supposed to be Race. And, oddly, that jobber won the HWA heavyweight title not long back...

I wonder why Dish Network calls it Episode 306.. does it count the old show? But there was probably more than 240 episodes of that, right? Good to see this show get some love.
