An extremely underrated piece of music. I am sure you did it justice.
I saw Re-Flex when they opened for the Thompson Twins way way back in the day at the Orpheum in Boston. They actually were pretty decent live, if I remember correctly, though it was 20 years ago.

The WHOLE THING was in the WRONG KEY. It was really tough and no fun. Knowing now what I knew then, I would have blown it off...perhaps for "Everything She Wants."

My friends have also been on a Hall & Oates kick lately. Some caught their show in Dallas, others just play their greatest hits ad nauseum. But it has definitely become a trend this past year.
I still like them better than Air Supply, whose classic, "All Out of Love" is performed every week by my roommates at karaoke. They even practiced it in the car.

"Careless whisper" is pissah hard. But ultimately worth it. Though I do sort of Jack Black it up when I do it. As in... PLEASE STAaaaaaaaaayoooooooooooohhhhhandI'mnevagonnadanceagain...."
Though I thought that it was just by Wham!, and that George Michael's presence was implied.
More importantly, "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All" is the definitive Air Supply. It's best if you can get *anyone* to buy the idea that you can "make all the stadiums rock".
I tend to gesture with a raised fist. That works for me.
