Originally posted by RKMtwinIIRC, WWE put out a magazine roughly around a year ago or so (maybe longer) that chronicled the histories of their various titles. In the magazine was an actual diagram that showed chronologically where title lineages began and/or ended. And guess what? The current version of the World's Heavywieght Title on RAW has a lineage that begins in 2002.
And BTW, my opinion, for what it's worth, is that the NWA World Title lineage does not coincide with either versions of the World titles beyond the title dispute that caused the inception of the WWWF/WWF/WWE. As was pointed out earlier in this thread quite succinctly, in both 1991 and 1993, at various points, the NWA did not recognize WCW's World Champion. When Ric Flair entered the WWF in 1991 as NWA Champion, the recognition in WCW was gone. And WCW's lineage with the NWA ended in 1991 for good.
If your nose is full of boogers it's snot my fault!
Well, we all know that Test won himself a whole year's worth of immunity at last year's Survivor Series, now with SS 2002 around the corner, they're gonna have to end this angle somehow... ...
