So, I'm switching from Safari to Firefox on my Mac, but when I go to import my bookmarks and stuff, there's no option for Safari in the menu. Does anybody know of an easy way to do this?

I was kidding about that whole "Fire Jim Tressel" thing. Really. I was.

I had the same issue, but I couldn't find a solution other than creating a new bookmark list from scratch. This is one reason why I haven't completely switched yet.

Googling led me to this page where the author had the same problem, and they found a solution in Safari Bookmarks Extractor. I can't test that it still works with version changes in both, but it probably does. Once you have your extracted bookmarks, you just use Manage Bookmarks -> File -> Import -> From File.

They actually did this one on Myth Busters. It took them a while to actually break one, but they showed it was possible. They actually used an adapted router to get the rpms up.
