Free agent Jeff George signed a one-year contract to return to the NFL, ESPN.com has learned. Financial details were not immediately available, but it is anticipated that the contract is for the league minimum of $760,000, prorated over the final five games of this season. The deal came after George huddled much of Saturday with Bears coaches and team officials.
As much of a joke Jeff George is at this point, he still is a few thousand times better than the utter garbage the Bears ran out at QB on Thanksgiving. During the 2nd and 3rd quarters of that disaster, I was tempted to file an FCC complaint as it was an obscene use of the airwaves.
Money is no replacement for the love of a good woman. Real estate, especially in the current marketplace, is another story.

It's reported that Chad Hutchinson (didn't he play bad football for the Cowboys a couple of years back) is going to get his first start in a Bears uniform this week. So if that's true and Jeff George plays he'll be # 19 *does voice of Count from Sesame Street* "18, 19 Bears starting Quarterback since 1992 HA-HA-HA"... Scary or sad thing about it is that technically they are only one game off a wild card spot, even though their seeding is one lower with 4 & 7 bunch.
smark/net attack wienerville advisory holds at ORANGE alert - High (JBL is STILL WWE champion and now smarks arch enemy HHH is the World Champion. Major red threat, but the undercard seems okay. The alert holds... for now)- 9/19

Tiger Stadium at LSU seats 91,000 The Liberty Bowl seats 62,000 Legion Field in Birmingham seats 83,000 Any of those three would probably draw big crowds and allow people close to the city to get there in a days travel.
