Just came across this on PWInsider for pre-orders for wrestling figures. Apparently, in the next wave there will be (brace yourselves, people!) a new two-pack of Doug and Danny Basham! Is everyone else's nipples hard, because mine sure are. Uh... Just kidding.
Wow. It just goes to show that just about anyone is getting an action figure. With that said, I can't wait for my Heidenreich and Michael Cole 2-pack of action figures. I can recreate their scene in the boiler room and for added drama, let Heidenreich wisk Cole Slaw away in the pink Barbie Corvette back to his little dollie room with the Bedtime Barbie Pretty n' Pink 4-Poster Bed. Schweeet! Thank Heaven for articulation!
Its surprising the Jakks is still making figures for the WWE, since the lawsuit. I can't complain about the figures when WWE Classics is out and they are already planning into 2005 with Rock, one good Rock figure is all I ask, Hogan, Terry Funk, Cactus Jake, Bobby Heenan and a ton more. The rumor is that Jakks is putting out all of this stuff to help their case against the WWE. I don't know how much success that would be, but since they never even released a press release about the Classic tag teams ie the Rockers, Hart Foundation and LOD, then its a possiblity. Either way, cool looking figures is always a plus with me. Just have to find a cool ring to put them in.

I'm glad to see it. Doug Basham and Damaja are a couple of very good wrestlers and it's cool to see the guys getting that type of recognition with the action figures.
Well, I saw a Stevie Richards action figure the other day at Wal-Mart, so, yes, anyone CAN have an action figure. Still, I won't buy any wrestling figures until they release this jem:

Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.

To tell you the truth, I'm relieved about Jakks still making WWE figures, since they have the "RealScan" technology to give them their perfect likenesses, and I shudder to think what would happen if WWE went to another action figure company without RealScan.
With that being said, after watching Tough Enough last week, yes, I DO want a Basham Bros. 2-pack.

Supposedly, Jakks is releasing those TV games with the WWE license. Now, maybe the company is trying to make as much money as they can before their contract ends with the 'E or whatever.

It looks like Jakks isn't using RealScan anymore. I've got the RVD figure that came with the ECW DVD... and it doesn't really look like him at all.
