A poster on another board I belong to posted a list of coupon codes for DeepDiscountDVD.com. The codes get you 20% off on purchases (I got "Rise & Fall of ECW" for $14.51). The codes are good through 11/20. I assume they will all work. I used the "NYTIMES" code, and everything went smoothly.
The list of codes:

So is the site a real reputable place to buy DVDs? I had not heard of them before this post. I get most of my stuff through Amazon.
For instance I am purchasing Season 1 of Carnivale for my wife for Christmas, since we don't get HBO, it would be nice to get. On Amazon, it's going for $69.99. If what you say is true about the 20% off their already low price at Deepdiscount, I could get the same thing for $59.99. Ten bucks is ten bucks.
So, long story still long, has your experience with this company been good? Anybody else?
I've never had any problems with them, either. Quick service, good prices, free shipping. No complaints.
The 20% off thing does cause traffic to increase quite a bit, so if you're doing your ordering during the business day, everything might run a little slow the next few days. The later in the day (or at night), the quicker everything will run.
I don't order a lot of DVD's online, but when I do, that's my 1st choice. Usually a little cheaper than the other places, plus you get free shipping (using regular mail delivery). Plus, they run these specials every now & then. I haven't had any problems whatsoever ordering from them.
My dad signed up with them to get a Sonny & Cher DVD from a TV offer. After his order, he noticed something to the effect of "after one month, we will continue to bill your membership at the standard monthly rate".
I don't see any membership rates on the stuff Spiff posted, so my dad must have been hooked into a special TV promotion. Just a small heads-up.
I just bought 3 DVD box sets there and the total came to $100 including shipping. That would've easily cost me $150 at Best Buy. Thanks, Spiff. [/unpaid testimonial]
Originally posted by piemanWill there be other 20% sales?
Most likely. I don't know when, though. As I mentioned, a poster on another board posted this info, and he usually posts when they have these "sales", so I'll keep an eye out and try re-post here when they do. It looks like they do these every 3-5 months or so.

That's...weird. I haven't run across that before, nor have I heard of anyone else having that problem. You don't need a membership to buy from that site.
(BTW, I have no affiliation w/ that site in any way. Just throwing that out since it might look like I'm trying to shill for them. Just trying to save some people some money.)
No worries, guru, when I purchase "Carnivale" for my wife through Amazon, I will go through here, so that you may reap the handsome rewards of my $70 purchase. You do have Amazon as one of your affiliates, don't you?

Jeff Jarrett is in this movie?! Has TNA been running ads non-stop promoting it? Why isn't he in a half-assed feud right now revolving around his role?? Isn't that how wrestling+film promotion is done in 2013?
