This is from silvervision.co.uk (Well, actually itīs from an email they send me today!):

Personality titles such as the upcoming Rob Van Dam DVD will also be available to preorder at Ģ12.99 (€20.00).

Looks like they will finally do it!

What matches would you like to see on this one?

Iīd go with the following:

RVD
kissing the Million $ Mans boot (Ok-Thats not a match!)
vs. Lynn
vs. Sabu
vs. Bigelow
vs. Jeff Hardy (ECWs early Raw Invasion)
vs. Jeff Hardy (Invasion)
vs. Jeff Hardy (ladder match)
vs. Stone Cold (SmackDown - RVD beats Austin!)
vs. Stone Cold vs. Angle (No mercy)
vs. William Regal (first ic title win!)
vs. Benoit (Summerslam)
vs. Christian (ladder)

I'm glad they're (hopefully) finally pulling the trigger on this. Would assume that we'll see some of his stuff with Undertaker (such as their Vengeance match a couple of years ago, which wasn't that bad) and his ill-fated title hunt against HHH in 2002. But I agree -- I'd much rather see some of those ones you mentioned....

I wonder if it'll have any of his WCW work (as Robbie V)

While I'd love, love, LOVE to see this come out (you all know I'm an RVD mark by now, right?), I'm not 100% sure that it will. There was talk earlier this year of them releasing a Van Dam DVD this month, but talk sort of it faded away. I'd love to see them do it, but it's sort of a "I'll believe it when I see it" mentality here.

Only 3 ECW matches! Come on, now. I'd get rid of the first Jeff Hardy one since it was pretty bad. The Million Dollar Man should be interesting to watch. It also should be interesting to watcho how a sure fire world title holder got knoced down to mid card for life. I think is going to be damn depressing.

If they do this DVD, I'm sure it will be mostly ECW matches. Generally, they like to put matches where the main guy doesn't lose so I'd be surprised if we would see his matches against Taker and HHH.

I think the DVD will look something like this:
A match against Lynn, they had so many, I don't know which one they would take. Maybe two, who knows.

They will surely put two matches against Jeff Hardy: the squash match he had in his very first WWF match (the initial ecw invasion that lasted a couple of weeks) and the ladder match of InVasion.

A match against Sabu OR a match with Sabu as a tag team partner. I personally like their match against Hayabusa and Hakushi from HeatWave 98 (I'm taking a guess).

A match vs Bam Bam Bigelow.

As far as WWE matches goes...besides the obvious Hardy matches mentionned above, there's a couple of them that comes to mind: Regal (WMX8), Angle and Austin, Dreamer (the end of the hardcore title at MSG would be a nice touch I think).

I'd would probably pick this DVD. RVD is always entertaining.

I would say 10-15 matches if it's 2 disc as most have been recently. I would go with:

Rob Van Dam vs. Axl Rotten, House Party 1996 (ECW Debut)
Rob Van Dam, Sabu and Tazz vs. Triple Threat, November 2 Remember Six-Man Tag Match 1998
Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn, Hardcore Heaven 1999
Rob Van Dam vs. Balls Mahoney, Anarchy Rulz 1999
Rob Van Dam vs. Sabu, Guilty as Charged 2000
Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn, Guilty as Charged 2001 (Final PPV)
Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Hardy, Invasion 2001 (WWE PPV Debut)
Rob Van Dam vs. Steve Austin, Smackdown 2001 (non-title match)
Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Benoit, Summerslam 2002
Rob Van Dam vs. Tommy Dreamer, Raw is War 2002 (IC-Hardcore Unification match)
Rob Van Dam and Kane vs. Legion of Doom, Raw is War 2003
Rob Van Dam vs. Christian, Raw is War 2003 (Ladder Match)
maybe a new smackdown match? could think of any good ones tho where he wins

...and that's the bottom line cos jk sed so

Eh, personally I'd be more thrilled with a Chris Jericho DVD in the same format as the Guerrero and Benoit DVDs. Except that with Jericho, they've got the SMW footage available as well.

This is from pwinsider:

Rob Van Dam - One Of A Kind Scheduled for release 1/4/05, this will be an in-depth look at Van Dam, similar to the recent Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero DVDs. The disc will feature footage of Van Dam as Robby V in WCW, as well as bouts from ECW, his King of the Ring match against Chris Jericho, his ladder match vs. Christian on Raw and more.

Yeah! It happens! I really canīt wait for this one!

The only DVD still missing is a Jericho-Double-DVD!!

Plus(but who cares?):

WWE: Best Of Intercontinental Championship Matches
Scheduled to be released 1/25/05, I believe this is a re-release of an older video release from the Coliseum Home Video days based on the match listing, which features Shawn Michaels vs. Crush, Bret Hart vs. Skinner (Tuesday in Texas PPV), and Shawn Michaels vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan (Early Monday Night Raw taping). The DVD is slated to be 90 minutes long.

Andre The Giant
Scheduled to be released 1/25/05, this is another 90 minute re-release of an older Coliseum Home Video release, with Lord Alfred Hayes hosting bouts including the angle where Andre had his hair cut by the Heenan Family, teaming with Jimmy Snuka vs. the Wild Samoans, a Battle Royal and more.

I also read something about a Divas-Double(!)DVD coming soon! (But again: Who cares?)

Well, I'll hope that this is the real deal and mark 1/4 down on my calendar.

Yes, all we need now is a Jericho double disc set, and throw in Kurt Angle too (another DVD that was rumored earlier this year, and then dropped).

I hope that this was a joke, as I can't imagine WWE putting out a "Best of" DVD with matches featuring Crush and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.

Well, if this is a re-release from a Coliseum Video (mid-90's?) like it says, than I can see this match list being released.

WWE has never been known to put "classic" matches on those old Coliseum Videos....there was one where, amongst other matches, they showed Shawn Michaels defending his IC title in 3 matches....against Skinnner, Kamala and Virgil.
