Wow....I really can't believe these people...I guess I can, but how arrogant are these guys? Well, I guess that 52 percent doesn't really count when the other 47/48 percent is sooo much smarter and better people than everyone in the majority. How sad.

EDIT: The more I look at that site, the more frustrated I get. I'm not sorry for anything. I don't apologize. I'm glad Bush got reelected; if the international community doesn't like it, screw them. Sore losers, the whole bunch of them.

Well, it doesn't look like this election has done anything to "unpolarize" this country, has it?

The rest of the world has asked me to accept your apology on their behalf.

Just be more careful next time.

No, and you saying screw the world isn't going to do anything to help ease that division.

People in this country have a voice, Democrats in this country have a voice, Republicans in this country have a voice. We all have a voice, every voice means something and should be respected. You might not agree, but telling someone to screw off doesn't seem very productive.

Look, this world is too small to pretend each country doesn't have a stake in what another country does, especially when one country is powerful like the US or someone in the EU. It's completely understandable that people who think Bush is wrong for the World would want to be involved.

I'm not telling the whole world to screw off. Nor am I telling them that they have to like Bush or Kerry or anyone of us. What I am saying is that this country chose Bush to be their president (over 59 million of us), and I won't apologize to other countries for our democracy. It's not a matter of me being a Bush supporter. I wouldn't like this crap if Kerry got elected and Bush supporters were doing this crap.

Exactly. I don't care whether these people agreed or disagreed with the platform I supported. If these were radical right wing retards holding up those signs to say "I'm sorry" to aborted babies it would be just as funny (OK, that would probably be a LITTLE funnier... but still on point).

You don't have to apologize to the rest of the world.

You do, however, have to apologize to Barbra Streisand.

Incidentally, http://www.werenotsorry.com

The Left, the base of the Democratic Party, hail the virtues of tolerance and consider themselves to be the tolerant citizens of America. In their touting of tolerance they express their obvious disdain for those whose views run contrary to that of enlightened Liberalism.

Dare to make a statement of conviction of any kind, and one of these Leftists will set down his cheese and wine, pause his lecture on the virtues of plurality and the absurdity of the belief in absolute Truth, and tell you your convictions -- everything you believe and hold dear -- are absolutely wrong. Where does he get his understanding that what you claim is "right" is actually not? Against what standard is this wrongness measured? He can't say. All he knows is that you're a bigot, you're intolerant, you're not worthy of being an American. In fact, you're not smart enough to understand what it means to be an American.

And not only are you dumb, you're dangerous. Fanatics like you don't belong in a "tolerant" culture like ours. You and your beliefs and the people who share them should not be allowed in our civilized society . . . or, at the very least, you should be denied the right to vote. Because when you vote, when you're politically active, you screw everything up.

I think you mean we have to apologize for Barbra Streisand.

And YOU need to accept that at least three million more people on the other side of the argument feel even more strongly. My bone of contention over this is, I don't appreciate people saying "sorry those other idiots have the right to vote, I wish they were as smart as we are!"

Is it just me, or was Alanis lookin' SMOKING on her recent appearance on the Bill Maher show?

Of course, I've got weird taste. When Jeanine Garafalo dyed her hair blond, I couldn't get her out of my head for a week.

I'd say it's a tossup. In Hollywood, you've got good old-fashioned vanity, but with journalists, you'll never meet a more insecure, self-absorbed, conceited bunch of people. Add ugly if they work in newspapers. Stupid if it's TV. :)
