Okay, let's go under the assumption elections in Iraq go off without a hitch (which I'll believe when I see).

There is now talk about Al Sadr and Chalabi forming a pretty powerful anti-American, Shiite alliance, which would have a lot of support. What should Bush do if a religious, anti-American alliance wins the elections?

Call me cynical, but do you really think the US would allow an anti-American leader to be "elected" in Iraq?

Are you ready for Mahkan-mania to run wild all over you?

I don't get the reference, but okay. I'm not enough of a movie buff, I guess.

Not a damn thing.

If they elect a government, we must accept it no matter what it is. We will have zero credibility if we try to undermine it. And believe it or not, Bush cares about what other countries think.

I remember when Colin Powell was in Meet The Press in May (the episode where his press aide tried to cut the interview short) where Russert asked that question... Powell pretty much responded with "It ain't going to happen", Russert pushed the "what if" but Powell's attitude acted like there is no chance of it happening.

smark/net attack wienerville advisory holds at ORANGE alert - High (JBL is STILL WWE champion and now smarks arch enemy HHH is the World Champion. Major red threat, but the undercard seems okay. The alert holds... for now)- 9/19
