"I hate motherfuckers claimin' that they foldin bank
But steady talkin shit in the holding tank
First you wanna step to me
Now your ass screamin for the deputy
They send you to Charlie-Baker-Denver row
Now they runnin up in ya slow
You're gone, used to be the Don Juan

Yeah, I had almost forgotten about how good condition Eddy "No Body Fat" Guerrero was in. Let the battle of the frog splashes commence.

I haven't seen his return, so I would have been upset if you guys ACTUALLY said what he did.

I dug Eddys big return but didn't like the frogsplash. It just didn't make much sense for RVD to hit it and act hurt, and then Eddy to hit it and be perfectly o.k. Oh well.

When RVD used to do the frog splash with someone moron holding a trashcan on his chest it made sense to act hurt. What he does now every time now makes him look like one of the Hardy Boyzzzzzzzzzzz.

Does this mean we'll never get to see the exciting conclusion to the Jerry Lynn/Eddie Guerro saga?

Damn.

I wonder if THIS is why Lita wasn't with the Hardy Boyz, Eddie's back macking on her.

In any event it's good to see him back, now hopefully he'll stay clean and sober. He and Hall can form a support group.

Eddy-RVD

15 minutes at Backlash.

Life is good, very good.

You're in a desert, walking along in the sand when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise. It's crawling towards you. You reach down and flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over. But it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.

The VD isn't ACTING hurt, he just doesn't know how to land the move properly.
Seriously, Eddy totally made the VD look bush-league by *properly* hitting his finish. Nice powerbomb, too.
That's quite a feud..."if you had to choose, which of these guys would you let drive your car?"

Not only did i go apesh!t when i saw eddy, but damn that was a sweet powerbomb. Even better is the fact that it looks like he'll be pushed as "RUDO EDDY"of WCW as opposed to LATINO HEAT. Man, that look he gave to the crowd on his way up the rampway was golden. GOLDEN!!!!!!!

Let's hope Eddie can stay clean this time around. I like having him around.

I don't believe Chavo was drafted.... hopefully he'll be on Raw with Uncle Eddie. :)

So Eddie has returned... but has he signed? I thought at first that he'd be on Raw (where he belongs), but then Vince followed him to the ring. Were these unrelated events? Or did Vince already hire Eddie and send him out there so that Vince could interrupt Raw with a Splash? (hehe)

It would have been nice if Ross made ONE comment about Eddie after Vince came back and stole Eddie's Heat. (woo, i'm on a roll)

So was Eddie sent by Vince? was Eddie only in the building because Flair invited him? or is he still a free agent?

Unfortunately, Vince drew our attention away from what should have been an important question by stroking Stone Cold's ego and giving him an entire show to show that he really was important to the company.

I presume Eddy is Raw talent, seeing as he attacked RVD pretty emphatically. Last I recall, Eddy was an IC title guy- it would make sense.
Of course, I just said "it would make sense", so there's half of me that concludes he'll appear on SD! instead.
Damn stupid logic.

It makes sense to me that RVD acts hurt after his splash, and Eddie doesn't, because Van Damm gets so much more height on the move.

In fact, the way RVD can change his flight pattern in mid-air makes Eddie's frogsplash look downright pedestrian.

I don't know, maybe Vince sent Eddy on a mission to get RVD to face him at Backlash so he can bring the IC Title to Smackdown. I think it's too soon for interpromotional matches, though.

I thought I heard Jim Ross say that Flair had signed Eddy.

My question is: If Eddy did a run-in from the crowd, why was he wearing his wrestling clothes?

"The best reason for committing loathsome & detestable acts -and let's face it, I am considerably something of an expert in the field - is purely for their own sake. Monetary gain is all very well, but it dilutes the tastes of wickedness to a lower level that is obtainable by anyone will an overdeveloped sense of avarice. True and baseless evil is as rare as the purest good - and we all know how rare THAT is." - Acheron Hades, THE EYRE AFFAIR by Jaspar Fforde

I believe that Ross said that Flair "must have" signed Eddie- giving the viewer the impression that he is going to be on Raw. At least I HOPE that's what they were trying to get across. Raw needs Eddie way more than Smackdown does (though a Benoit/Eddie fued would kick major ass).

Doesn't Eddy's return to Raw make that show a little heavy on the heel end of things? Might be a good time for Booker's face turn.

A little heavy?... I think they already were a little heavy on the heel side before eddy. Even with Austin they will still need a face turn from someone. Kane and Big Show can't carry the whole face load themselves.
