This may seem a bit random(even for the random forum), but has anyone seen the new Geico commercial?
It is hilarious. It starts out as a spoof of a reality show about a new couple who must live in a tiny house for an entire year. The commercial caught my attention because they got me hook line and sinker. It is extremely well done and doesn't seem too far off for America's ridiculous obsession with reality TV.
Hopefully you will all see this commercial, it will make your day, guarandamnteed.
I bought it too. I started ranting during the commercial about how much reality TV sucks (using that faux show as an example), then I find out it's not a real show. That shut me up.

I love the new commercial. Particularly because they did such a good job in the spoof reality show that I totally bought it. I was thinking how stupid it was, and how far down hill reality shows are slipping, and then they hit me with the Geico mention.
And I thought they couldn't get any better than the soap-opera spoof commercial ("I saved. I thought that meant something to you?").
The answer to WWE's financial problems...
Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.

The thing that got me was the voice-over- it sounded just like the REAL voice-over guy on the commercials for some reality TV shows.
I took a while, but I figured the ad was fake right before the Geico part. It's like all those fake commercials they'd run right before the Energizer Bunny came through, "Still going..." Very clever.
Seriously, how much of an advertising budget does Geico have? Do they make a profit? I've seen more Geico ads than McDonald's, Nike, Ford, Chevy, Disney, IBM, and Microsoft COMBINED.
Dear God. When I was scrolling down through here I was going to post a message saying how I hoped to all that was holy that they never made an Iron Fist movie. Thanks, Cerebus...you just made me cry. Let us hope they update the costume just a bit!
