The thieves even got the manual and maps copied, which are pretty much essential for a GTA game. Hmm, seems to be a big problem these days. I checked IRC and this game appears to be all over the place, but I think I'll still buy the game. Not only would it take DAYS for me to be able to download it, but this game seems like it's truly worth the money, so why not buy it?
Well if they made it so I could play it on my PC I'd certainly be tempted. It's better than waiting for the eventual X-Box version.

Thanks to the manual being leaked, someone was able to copy the radio track listings with all the songs the game will include. I saw this on another site.

Man, I hope they release a soundtrack box set again. That sounds even better than the Vice City set I have.

The classic rock station is awesome. Just awesome.
Tom Petty and me are gonna cause total mayhem in San Andreas.

Originally posted by CrimedogHow freaking awesome is it that they have a COUNTRY station??? I'm TOTALLY gonna jack fools while listening to Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.
Agree about the country station. I can see it now...
Crazy for thinking that my love could hold you...
VRRRRRRRMMM...SCREECH...."LOOK OUT!" *THUMP*
I'm crazy for crying...
*buddabuddabuddabudda* *glass breaking* "OH MY GOD!!"
I'm crazy for trying
*cop cars wailing in background* "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING ASSHOLE!"
I only play GTA3. I never got into Vice City, but played GTA2 a little. I always, listened to the opera station. I am a HUGE classical music fan(and a composition student at the UofO).
There is nothing like a nice soothing sound music while speeding through busy streets crowded with fake people and cars! I go crazy!
Well, I'll be the first to be disappointed in the music selections. They did have to give something to everyone so I don't blame them, but as for me, I will only be listening to the West Coast Hip Hop and the Alternative station. Plus, there were MUCH better songs to pick from some of these artists, even within the confines of the "early 90's" timeframe.
And SOMEONE please tell me that there will be one (or more) talk show stations. One of the best things with Vice City was listening to Sarah Michelle Gellar's Amy as she interviewed all manner of funky people.
RORY: So, is this party Grandma's having going to be a big deal? LORELAI: Not really. The government will close that day. Flags will fly at half-mast. Barbra Streisand will give her final concert...again. RORY: Uh-huh. LORELAI: Now, the Pope has previous plans, but he's trying to get out of them. However, Elvis and Jim Morrison are coming and they're bringing chips.

There's supposed to be one talk radio station with much longer content than the past games, but no mention yet of who the host is. Amy wasn't done by SMG though, the IMDB credits list an actress named Leyna Weber as the voice.
Originally posted by TL_HopperAll I want is another chat station with Lazlow hosting. I liked him on V-Rock in Vice City, but it ain't the same.
Well, Lazlow's been pretty mum on his involvement in San Andreas. In fact, I seem to remember him saying that he wasn't involved in the game at all this time. He was in charge of the stations in GTA3 and in Vice City (Recording, production, writing, etc..) and it looks like the guys from Rockstar learned enough from him to do it on their own this time.
I hated it in VC when you're so into a song you dont notice the cop that you just run over and killed, then you get busted a block later. It's so frustrating that i just turn the music off occasionally.

Dude, if you're getting busted that easily, you need to hone yo skillz. If I'm being chased by a pack of cops, I just drive to the vicinity of Pay N Spray, step out of the car and hose them all with the flamethrower. Then I get a new paint job. Count me in as a future devoted listener of the alternative station. And I agree that Welcome to the Jungle on the TV ad pretty much sold this game for me. It looks awesome.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I wish they would have included Filter's "Hey Man, Nice Shot" on the playlist.
