FOOTAGE! of last week's main event, focusing on Edge's turn. And Bisch books a match for tonight!
Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight, never running from a real fight, because it is time to WAKE UP! It's also time for Raw, live from Chicago, Illinois...and a Fashion Report, too!
Bisch, in black karate gear, occupies the center of the ring (looking pretty chubby). He calls out Eugene, in white jacket and blue undies, wearing oversized white foam hands. Chris Kay, in referee's stripes, wanders in the background, just in case a match breaks out. Here comes Gene Snitsky, in black undies. Gene vs. Eugene. Chris gets to officiate, afterall. Snitsky dominates, but it only lasts until Eugene 'tards-up. Snitsky hits a sideslam->pin. Post-match, Regal, in black vest, steel-grey shirt, tie, and black slacks, tries to stop a chairing, but he takes the cold, unforgiving seat, instead. Bisch gets his licks in on the fallen Eugene.
Todd Grisham, in grey suit, blue shirt and yellow tie, stands in a carpeted, podium-strewn ring. Edge, Benoit, and Shawn come out to debate. Man, I hope it's as intellectually-stimulating as the classic Steiner-Nowinski showdown. Edge is soo heelish.
Heel Womens' Association - Trish, in black v-neck and black pants, Molly in floral corset and black pants, and Gail, in black slitted top and hotpants vs. Face Womens' Association - Stacy in black top and blrown skirt, Victoria in yellow, and Nidia in silver top and black hotpants. Jack Doan is the official. Stacy's really good...at getting her ass kicked. Widow's Peak->pin on Gail.
FOOTAGE! of Snitsky in action earlier tonight. Presently, he's talking to his father, all estatic about his first televised victory. However, Lita has to interrupt the touching family moment, getting all up in his face before flailing with her fists of impotence. Gene puts the uppity bitch in her place.
JR, in grey suit, black shirt, tie, and hat, and Jerry, in white suit and black tshirt show FOOTAGE! of Randy on Jimmy Kimmel's show.
Meanwhile, in their lockerroom, Evolution hangs. HHH tries to console Flair, who seems upset at the age-based knocks Randy was dishing-out on that pre-taped segment.
Batista, in gold "Batista" undies with crotch-flame, and Flair, in red, gold-trimmed robe, red "RF" undies thereunder, vs. Jericho, in black reel-silhoutted tights with purple tirm, wearing the IC Title, and Randy, in black "Orton" undies with red scrawls. Mike Chioda is the referee. The action is picking-up, so that must mean it's a cue for AdBreak to butt-in.
Cont. The heels quickly comeback. RKO is countered, leading to a ref-bump. Jericho locks-in the Walls and Flair taps, but Chioda is still woozy. Jericho proceeds to take a massive clothesline, and Flair locks in the Figure-Four. Jericho submits. Damnit, Jawler, shut the fuck up about voting.
FOOTAGE! of Eurotrash pilgrimaging to see the WW.
Vince, in black pinstriped suit, blue shirt and tie. Vince in a tie? He hypes Taboo Tuesday (shut the fuck up about it, already - I'm not gonna pay to watch your crap).
Christian!, in white tights with gold "C"s on black crests, interrupts. Fuck yeah - Christian Coalition! Tajiri, in black pants with gold lightning dragon on right and blue-flaming left hem, lobbies Vince for his support. Coach, in black "Taboo TuesdaY" tshirt and black slacks, has to come out, too, to gunk-up this segment. Oh, then Rhyno, in black gold "Rhyno" singlet, comes out to GORE! the frick out of people. But Vince puts the kibosh on that by talking more. Hurricane, in black "H" poncho, mask, aand green/black tights gets himself some mic time. Then Shelton, in blue fullcuts with silver tirm is out. Ha - no speaking for Shelton, as Vince continues his discourse, calling for a referee. So out comes Chad "I'll allow it" Patton. It's a Six-Man Elimination match, which starts...right now!
Hurricane and Christian! start. Vince joins commentary. Order of elimination: Hurricane. Adbreak! doesn't get eliminated - he shows-up.
Cont. During the break, Tajiri must've been eliminated. Coach, and quickly Rhyno. Somehow, Christian! busts-up his side (must've taken a rope incorrectly). Benjamin suplex's Christian!->pin. Psot-matchj, Vince endorses Shelton. Then Shelton says he doesn't care about Vince - he wants the fans' support.
Carmella and Christy blab...I think. I didn't actually watch the segment.
HHH, in black suit, blue shirt and tie, carrying the Title, joins commentary. Shawn, in mirror-studded vest and chaps over black "Shawn Michaels/HBK" tights with red hearts vs. Benoit, in black "4 Real" tights with white slashes vs. Edge, in red trenchcoat and red faceprint tights. Earl Hebner officiates. AdBreak!
Cont. Edge cheats to win.
Overall: A solid show, but nothing that convinces me to spend money on a PPV.
ScreamingHeadGuy, something I've always wondered. Do you take notes the whole time, or do you tape it and quickly rewatch it. I guess you could write it all up while Raw is going on and then just post it after Raw ends. Tell us the process.
NOTE: The above post makes no sense. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I had the dreaded W-Ball fantasy draft for the first 45 minutes, so I didn't give it my "full" attention....Snitsky/Eugene was basically to hype Bisch/'Gene's match. Good pop for Regal though....The debate was pretty pointless. I don't think any of those 3 guys would convince anyone in that one segment to change their vote....The ladies tag was odd, if only because it seems the face are ALWAYS winning....
Snitsky slamming Lita was interesting only in the way he no-sold her offense....Jeez, they keep mentioning Kimmel's name- I'd like to see he and Flair cut dueling promos on each other....The tag match was good, but Flair is looking older by the week (I know, technically he IS getting older by the week)....The Vince segment was GREAT. I'm a sucker for him in small doses. And he brought out the "SHUTUP!!!" gem. If Stevie Richards came out and wanted Vince's approval, I would've given that segment a million stars. Vince's "annoyed" look is awesome....
Good match too, for what it was. A Jericho/Shelton match should be good....Christy kissed Lillian! Eh, I'm not a big fan of Lil, so it didn't do much for me. Carmella has posed nude, but thinks fighting in a evening gown is "below her"?....The main event was all-right, not as good as I expected though.
And for the record, my votes: (I actually voted with about 10 seconds left in the countdown, interestingly enough) Benoit v.s Trips Orton v.s Flair- Steel Cage Ladies Rumble- Schoolgirl outfits Carmella v.s Christy- lingerie pillow fight Jericho v.s Stevie (Because I CAN) Bisch v.s Eugne- Loser becomes servant Kane v.s Snitsky- Chain match
Anybody already have the felling this, like everything else they have us vote on, is a sham? Thomas I didn't have any audio drops here. Anyways, I liked the show because it was pretty darn solid ppv or no ppv.
I agree with Screamingheadguy I don't know if I'll pay for it. Ditto on Mr. Boffo on the process of doing your report headguy.
***EDIT*** For what it's worth I also voted 10 seconds before the "offical" start, geemoney.

You're right, I had my times confused. It was definitely before the first hour ended though. Looking at SHG's report, I went into the computer (and stopped watching Raw) at the start of the Evolution vs Jericho & Orton match.

Watching Lawler try to vote was so fucking boring. I think they need a better internet connection at the announce desk. He also flip flopped. He kept saying he wanted the french maid outfits, then he votes school girl uniforms. I bet he votes for Kerry(I know I am).
Also, Victoria's theme is so incredibly bad its not even stupid funny. Its just annoying and lame.
Vince as a quesi-face is awesome. His shutup routine kicks all sorts of ass. And the CC sounds way too religious for me to get into. BTW, where did the Hurricane heel turn go?
Why does Christy have a last name yet Carmella has just her first name. Also, that had to be the worst lesbo kiss I have ever seen. I mean, they werent even trying there.
I loved that backstage skit with Gene and Lita. For some reason, I totally bought into Lita going apeshit on Gene. It just seems like something a girl would do.

During the show I take notes. Over the years (gosh, it's been YEARS already?) I've developed a shorthand...kinda (at least I can understand the scratchings). During commercial breaks (and segments I don't care about, like the Carmella/Christy thing tonight) I type the notes into Notepad. (I've found that, the more I like a show, the more notes I take and the more verbose I become with my writing.) Once the forum is unlocked, I cut and paste. So now the mystery is gone.
The sign of the night was definately "Raw is D'oh" with a picture of Homer.
I just got back from RAW and it kicked ASS! Vince got the loudest reaction...Orton got a pop, but not "I should have the title" pop...Flair kicks all ass...
The signs I brought:
"Orton is not Over"
"OverpusHHHed...Patterson was right"
"HHH holds people down"
"Bring back Bret Hart"

WEll, I was bored silly with the Vince segment, but not because of him, but becsue of 80% of the others involved. I wish he would have hung out and announced all night long. I miss him on the mic in full on face mode.
I wish Carmella would get some strange flesh eating virus, but, only on her face.
Lita getting punked by Snitsky was AWESOME! (did they show that in Canada?)
The one thing I am hating lately on WWE programming is the prolonged face shot at the end of backstage or interview segments. Lita staring straight, when Snitsky walking away to her right, just looked stupid.
Flair will OWN Orton.
BTW, am I the only one who voted for Regal vs Y2J?
I am sure it was a slip of the tongue, but during the 6-man elimination match Hurricane knocked down Tajire, who did a kip-up(or flip-up or whatever it's called!). Now this isn't unsual, except I coulda sworn JR called it a NIP-up.
Did anyone else hear this?
I've got many character flaws, humility isn't one.

I love this, a lot. Just go and check out Mr. America's bio over at WWE.com and check it out, it's great. It's one of the greatest things, ever, heh. I wonder how long and how far WWE will take this gimmick.
