Just wondered when the following injured wrestlers are due back in action. Can anyone tell me?:-

* A-Train
* Christopher Nowinski
* Mark Henry
* Test

I know Test has had neck fussion surgery, but was it the Dr Jho & is his return imminent?

Is Nowinski actually on the road to recovery or is he still having his night tremors? ("Cobras Cobras" a la Homer Simpson)

I know that these aren't eveybodys favourite workers, but they could all be used to boost the terrible tag division. A T&A reunion, Mark Henry & Rodney Mack, and Nowinski with Regal or even Maven could give us more varied tag matches than La Resistance vs Hurrican/Rosey vs Tajiri/Rhyno while not showing the weaknesses of their work as much?

"Britain, Britain, Britain, land of technological achievement.
We’ve had running water for over 10 years, an underground tunnel that links us to Peru and we invented the cat. But none of these inventions would have been possible if it had not been for the people of Britain and it’s those people we look at today.

Let's do it."

I think Nowinski "wrestling" career is done. He can be a manager or announcer or whatever.

I would rather see David Arquette come back into the World Title picture then see any of these guys back in a WWE ring. And no that's not a good thing

Nowinski - I guess since the migraines & continued head trama started with Nowinski he has been a political voice and spokesman for the WWE. He goes around the country along with other WWE talent. He was the democratic convention, SD! Your Vote rallies, etc. Too bad too as he was a great on-air character and up & comming wrestler.

A-Train - who cares

Mark Henry - the fact they WWE signed him to a rumored 10-year contract (F'N fools) seems he will be back eventually but again who cares greasy, no good jobber. (You couldn't take Rodney Mack with you off the roster?)

Test - He is making appearances across the country along with his girlfriend Stacy Keibler (yes, that Stacy) at WWE on sale ticket events and other WWE appearances. It's funny when Stacey has an appearance somewhere he is ALWAYS listed. He seems like a prick...talk about possessive.

I kinda miss Mark Henry. He was really starting to get some poise and timing behind him as a big strong fuck before he got injured. They need to put him on SmackDown as Teddy's Luther Reigns, have him pass some of the face heat onto an actual wrestler.

Once upon a time in China, some believe, around the year one double-ought three, head priest of the White Lotus Clan, Pai Mei was walking down the road, contemplating whatever it is that a man of Pai Mei's infinite power contemplates - which is another way of saying "who knows" - when a Shaolin monk appeared, traveling in the opposite direction. As the monk and the priest crossed paths, Pai Mei, in a practically unfathomable display of generosity, gave the monk the slightest of nods. The nod was not returned. Now was it the intention of the Shaolin monk to insult Pai Mei or did he just fail to see the generous social gesture? The motives of the monk remain unknown. What is known, are the consequences. The next morning Pai Mei appeared at the Shaolin Temple and demanded of the Temple's head abbot that he offer Pai Mei his neck to repay the insult. The Abbot at first tried to console Pai Mei, only to find Pai Mei was inconsolable. So began the massacre of the Shaolin Temple and all 60 of the monks inside at the fists of the White Lotus. And so began the legend of Pai Mei's five point palm exploding heart technique.

Nah, he's awful. He was just being booked better.

A-Train's the guy I want back. Underrated big man. Give me a A-Train/Palumbo team.

I didn't even know A-Train was injured. In fact, I forgot A-Train even existed, since the guys been practically invisible since moving to RAW. Anyone know what his injury is?

And, yeah, Henry is still awful. The WWE just finally learned how to effectively book him.

Test is out for a year following neck surgery. (He had the Austin surgery about 2 months ago instead of Angle's)

Nowinski's done, he's been out for more than a year with post-concussion syndrome.

Henry was guessed to be out 6 months, so he'll prolly return in Novemberish. And he WAS looking more improved in his last run.

Torn rotator cuff. I think he's due back any day now, but I haven't read anything about him showing up at house shows or in OVW, so who knows.

And I'm with Spiff -- Albert's good.

Just out of interest, has anybody ever had Post-concussion syndrome? What is the return to action time?
I find it hard to believe that a concussion could start a severe injury which leads up to a year out. Seems an awful lot like milking to me.....

Apologies if i am stupidly incorrect.

My medical knowledge is a little iffy, but former Flames D-Man Brad Werenka STILL has PCS after 2 1/2 years. When you get a concussion, the tissue surrounding your brain either swells or bruises, and the the PCS is the agonizingly slow healing process.

Bret Hart suffered from post-concussion syndrome after the mule kick by Goldberg.

There are several NFL players who have suffered from it, more recently Jets wide receiver Wayne Chrebet was sidelined for the latter half of last season because of it. Bill Romanowski is another example, although I'm not sure if he still suffers from it. A more extreme example that I found was former Jets wideout Al Toon, who still suffers from PCS after suffering at least 10 concussions in his 8-year career. Jesus.

There are several levels of concussions.
One is just rattling your brains a bit and you shake it off.
If you have too many of these however you can still end up in trouble.

The worst forms are pretty much career ending.
Some hockey players are one hard bodycheck away from being vegetables (Eric Lindros, I am looking at you)
The deal is, you have to be without symptoms (dizzyness, headaches etc) for several weeks before you can start rehabbing. And then ofcourse the symptoms have to stay away. This is the hardest part.

I doubt he would have a job still if he was milking it.

I hope they can find a good solid midcard spot for A-Train.
For a big lug who has his looks against him he isn't half bad (better than most of the current hosses when it comes to skills and physchology)
Henry was used well (except the extreme close-ups) thanks to Theodore Long as his manager. I doubt they can use that trick again.

Test's year long out might be either the best or the worst thing for his career. Either nobody will (want to) remember him and continue not caring when he returns, or they can retool him a bit and have him make an impact upon return.
As for traveling and doing signings with Stacy..I assume the WWE wanna make use of him and it's not that he is obsessive Not that I would blame him.

Concussions are a very tough thing to get through. An added problem is once you get one it becomes easier and easier to get another one.

I was being very impressed with Mark Henry at the end of 03 early 04. He was a leader IMO of most improved wrestler and was doing a very solid job. Some of it has to do with how he was booked (more of a big grizzly bear who mauls his opponents instead of the fat guy who's strong). But even with a better booked performance he went out and did it.

I remember he wrestled the perfect Big Man vs. Quicker opponent with Jericho. This was during the bet angle where Jericho was a tweener & the fans really didn't know how to take to him. He worked a match with Henry that going in he was still a tweener and finished with the crowd totally behind him. Some might put all the credit to Y2J, but Jericho had the same matches with Kane without the reaction or the substance in the ring that he had with Henry... Henry also had a good bigman/quickman match with HBK in a Raw main event (which going in I said aaah Henry at the main event urrr, but they worked well). Had a surprising decent/good hardcore match and PPV straight up match with Booker T who as we know is really on and off himself. And thinking back his powerman match vs. Goldberg was one of Goldberg's few decent matches in The E.

Seriously, I was no Mark Henry fan. But when he jumped from SD to Raw I was shocked how much better he was with a variety opponents with different style... Also didn't hurt he had Teddy Longs awesome entrance music to go with him.

smark/net attack wienerville advisory holds at ORANGE alert - High (JBL is STILL WWE champion and now smarks arch enemy HHH is the World Champion. Major red threat, but the undercard seems okay. The alert holds... for now)- 9/19

Mark Henry would benefit from being in a Big Man-Small Man tag team, and being on a different show as the Big Show, but essentially booked the same way. During the early brand-specific Smackdown Era, fans got into his Incredible Feats of Strengths. If WWE had him do things like flip cars and destroy doors, fans would take to him...

Sorry but even with his poor and sloppy wrestling skills Mark Henry is butt ass ugly. He makes A-Train look attractive. He is almost Borgnine level of ugliness.

I don't see this ending well. Danielson, while amusingly quirky on the microphone in an indie setting, doesn't really have the promo skills needed for WWE I fear.
