One 2/3 falls trios match and one 2/3 falls singles match this week.
Satanico, Mr. Niebla, and La Park(a) def Hector Garza, Terrible, and Rey Bucanero. Rudos win the first fall, Technicos win the next two. Highlights included Garza doing that corkscrew dive he used to do in WWF and WCW and La Park's dancing. No chair shots from La Park though. Vampiro also showed up on crutches.
A FACE named Satanico?
Hijo Perro Aguayo def Atlantis. Aguayo won the first fall with a double stomp, then was doing push-ups during the cover. Atlantis reversed a suplex to a small package for the next one. During the third fall Atlantis was seemingly DQ'd for dropkicking Aguayo in the balls, but then a Latino Howard Finkel announces this match MUST CONTINUE. Ref gets distracted and then Aguayo punts Atlantis in the groin for the win.
I'm liking this Lucha a bit more every week, though my seven year old daughter likes WWE more.

You're exactly right. There were a few luchadors in the WWF in early 1997. They had an undercard match at Royal Rumble in San Antonio.
How freakin over is La ParkA . From what I saw you can make an argument he's the most over face on wrestling TV (well I only catch, WWE and this. Maybe Cena & HBK can have a claim). La Parka no sells, but he makes it works as he did get beaten down after. Hector Garza has to have been in a Latin Soap, he just looks too good not to be in one. Lapark hit Garza with a rudo rattle toy! YES!! Talk about karma, this CMLL is deep lol... Mark out moment for me is doing a double take then squinting my eyes and realizing OMG that's Vampiro, NO WAY! He didn't have the cool hair like he did in WCW, but it was great seeing him. Is his injury legit? I'd love to see him in the ring anyway, he was always one of the few bright spots on the end days of WCW. I just liked his unique style.
Aguayo vs Atlantis was good too. Garza was outside & does some of the most obvious interfering in history. He would attack Atlantis right in front of the ref, the ref would call him out & Garza would claim he didn't do nothing as he puts his hands behind his back with a look of "see I didn't do nothing". I don't think the Mexican's have learned the fine art of sneak attack, you attack when the ref is not looking, then when the ref looks & sees the aftermath you put your hands behind your back & say "Not me"(They'll learn lol)... Atlantis dropkicks Aguayo in the thigh, but HP says it was in the netherregion which the ref called for the bell, NO WAY! MULTI REPLAYS show that it hit his thigh. Suits came out(Hope that's not a doctor checking for swelling). Match restarts this time the ref gets distracted & HP hit Atlantis south of the border(around Argentina in this case) & gets the win! OMG Psychology!
It was a little disturbing seeing Garza continuingly pointing at the bump of his little white tights telling the ref that's where Aguayo was hit lol. But really good show this week again, I'm really starting to get into the feel of it, as each week I to enjoy it more. Usually a good measure of a show is how fast it seems to go, and this last episode the time just flew by... I am wondering one thing, how is Aguayo Classic feel about New Aguayo behavior? It seems like the term happened recently. Is there a back story here or is this like Randy Orton and his dad who have no real on screen interplay.
smark/net attack wienerville advisory holds at ORANGE alert - High (JBL is STILL WWE champion and now smarks arch enemy HHH is the World Champion. Major red threat, but the undercard seems okay. The alert holds... for now)- 9/19
Before Vamp got hurt (broken leg, legit) he had a short red mohawk, more punk than his WCW look. I have to agree about Parka hitting Garza with the rudo noisemaker. That was fantastic.
Vampiro gave a tomstone piledriver to the Midget Blue Monkey
This immediately and unequivocally makes him PUBLIC ENEMY #1
I have just started catching this show on Univision, or Telemundo, whatever the spanish speaking channel is. (the one with less hot chicks on all the shows)
Anyhow, I was suprised at reaction for La Parka. HUGE is an understatement as to how over he is.
But, my only complaint about the show is they always, ALWAYS cut to the crowd, and its like the same three people half the time, and they dont look into the matches that much. Sorta kills things for me.
