Hey, it's time for another two weeks off from Ken Jennings! Make sure you watch Thursday's (9/23) game - I'm actually on it.

Good luck! (of course, that's a stupid thing to say now)

But what I must say is that it's quite refreshing to have close games that arent decided by the time Final Jeopardy rolls around. The Jennings streak is amazing, yes, but the fact that the man slaughters the competition and is often up by $10,000+ by Double Jeopardy bores me to tears. I guess I'm the only one, though, because ratings are pretty damn large right now. I, personally, can't wait for the guy to lose, just because I love the competition.

Is it getting tiring to us? Maybe; tell that to the viewers that call in asking where Ken Jennings is when the TOC starts.

On another note -- good luck, Teapot! Kick some ass. Hell -- I *could* just look at the tape today... but I won't.

I think people are tuning in to see Ken lose. I know I am.

I did watch today's episode a few minutes ago and I must give Chris credit for letting us know when he was on. I am sure you wished the outcome had been a little different, but there sure seemed to be some difficult questions on today's episode. And you actually appeared to be a pretty normal person on the show, too! Congrats on getting to the tournament!

Hey Chris, great work on the show. You were up against some tough competition, and still showed great effort. Is there any way you can ever get back on?

Nice job ... I was watching with my wife and said "Hey, that guy's on the W" ... she replied "what?" ... so I just said "nevermind."

Well, as long as nobody scores over 4000 in Friday's game, I've still got the last wild-card slot. TUNE IN AND FIND OUT! It's a strange sensation to be sitting in the audience, actively rooting *against* the three competitors in Friday's game.

I missed Friday's show. Did you happen to qualify?

I just wanted to say, Teapot, that I was totally impressed with the speed at which you were able to come up with those "letters in sequence" questions. I was hoping you'd find the Daily Double in there, but alas!

Yes, I got in as the last wild-card.

I would have gotten that DD. I honestly didn't think those were that hard.

Hey, congratulations! Silly me for assuming your score wouldn't hold up for a wildcard slot.

Best wishes on your next appearance (even though I already know it has already happened).

My thoughts as well - we were rooting for you on both fronts here.

Big ups

My thoughts exactly. I was thinking "Nobody normal is going to know this question". And then 2 out of the 3 knew it. So, Teapot, you are normal in my book.

But seriously, you did the W proud. Everybody I've rooted for so far this week has lost, but it'll be an interesting final two days.

I'm home with a sick son today, and while channel surfing, came upon the Game Show network and Match Game was on. Of course, I had to stop to hear the bass solo and twangy 70's guitar. Marcia was one of the panelists, so I left it on.
