This is what us former wCw fans call an ambulance match. You beat the hell out of someone then throw them into a motorized vehicle, shut the door and the match is over.

It makes perfect sense that 'the ministry' has returned on JBL's side.
I believe Cole said something like 'they were once part of the Undertaker's ministry, but now they have a new leader, one who pays big money!'
So it's all for money.
Viscera/Gangrel say pretty much the same on WWE.com in a sorta worked interview. Kinda implying that they lost their jobs due to Taker disbanding the Ministry of Darkness and that now they are back for some payback...

I guess JBL doesn't enforce a dress code on his employees.

Serves them right for not forming a Ministry Union. Both of them could use some dental coverage.

More cynical fans like myself MIGHT say that this match was booked so that certain, ahem, Legends are not required to do a job. But certainly we don't see those type things happen in THE worldwide leader in sports entertainment, now do we?

Okay, some people aren't even entertained by the Ministry now, so imagine them as faces? ZZZZZZZZZZ ...

I don't see why WWE don't keep them around as a good heel jobber team (the spot currently held by the Bashams) ...

I don't see why they don't play more on the Ministry's history. No-one has made reference to Bradshaw in the ministry, the feud would have been better if they built it as JBL coming up to face his old mentor and bringing back his old buds from the Ministry

...and that's the bottom line cos jk sed so

That explanation doesn't add up since Gangrel and the Brood left the Ministry before it disbanded.

OR they were casualties of the Ministry downsizing personnel right before the merger with The Corporation took place, since it is common business practice to (literally in this case) trim the fat from your company before a merger is finalized.

I actually kinda think that Undertaker might be getting the win here, possibly to set up that rumored Angle-UT feud.

Ah I know that its really early but right now it looks like they are going to do Angle v Taker for Wrestlemania. Having Taker be the champ now wouldn't exactly make sense unless you wanted to make mania a rematch for the belt.

Well, thats kinda what I'd do. Have Angle beat show, UT beat JBL, and then maybe have Angle screw UT out of the title with help from Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak and whoever else is going to be in Angle's version of Evolution.

I know it's WAY early for this but, After reading that, that made me think that 'Taker might be the one to win the '05 Rumble for 2 reasons

1. It's a match he's never won
2. It would be Smackdown's turn to main event WM

Royal Rumble 2005 Winner = John Cena

I can't think of anybody more in line for this than Cena. Though its true Taker has never won a Rumble, he doesn't need to in order to be seen as a legit WM main eventer, hes the freakin Undertaker.

Cena is a yawn in my book. Ooh, the tough rapper-grappler. Ok, then what? Like Randy Ortron he is one dimensional and his face turn did not follow any change in character. he is still the thug guy that makes derogatory rhymes about other wrestlers, only now he rips on heels. Why is he in line for the RR win? On what criteria other than "he's been here a while and his push was pulled so fast he kind of deserves it"?

And the Visc/Gangrel thing...
Do we have to see the fanged one slurping and spewing that red liquid anymore? I mean he is not some half-dead (arguable, I know) vampire anymore, so lose the chalice of "blood," dude! or just make it Krunk Juice.

Look at and listen to the fans every time Cena comes out to the ring, appears on the Titantron, or is even mentioned. He's money in the bank and WWE is just waiting to cash the check.

Judging from the WWE live events in recent years (admittedly one was in DC), Cena also represents the majority of wrestling fans these days. He is, for better or worse, today's People's Champion.
