During the Ross Report, J.R. mentions that RAW and SmackDown will start having separate tours in the near future.

He says that next weekend's house shows in Salt Lake City and Denver will be headlined by Austin vs. The Undertaker, Kane/Bradshaw vs. the nWo, and RVD vs. X-Pac, among others.

Kane, Bradshaw, the nWo and RVD are all part of RAW's roster. Is this an indication that Austin will join that roster as well, as has been speculated?

I bet J.R. gets his kicks throwing little pieces of candy in his reports for us internet fans to get all excited about, huh?

Hey, Bradshaw and Farooq find new partners and EXPAND the APA. Sounds good to me! Kane drinking beer and smoking cigars through the mask could be pretty cool. Who do you think Farooq's addition to the APA should be? I vote for Sandman!

There are no facts-only observational postulates in an endlessly regenerative hodgepodge of predictions. Consensus reality requires a fixed frame of reference. In a multilevel, infinite universe, there can be no fixity; thus, no absolute consensus reality. In a relativistic universe, it appears impossible to test the reliability of any expert by requiring him to agree with another expert. Both can be correct, each in his own inertial system.

I'm sure that Bradshaw and Faarooq were split up so that they could move away from the whole APA gimmick.

When was the last time the APA "protected" anybody? When was the last time anybody said "Acolyte Protection Agency" instead of just APA? The gimmick is dead, they are now moving on to hopefully better things.

Move on? Bigger and better things? Before the APA, Faarooq was stuck in shitty gimmick Hell as the leader of a stable whose only redeeming factor was the fact that it served as a springboard for The Rock. Bradshaw was worse off than Faarooq with his watered down Stan Hansen gimmick. The APA was the one gimmick that they trived with. If they change anything, change the name to fit their style a bit better, but keep their gimmick as beer-driking, cigar-smoking ass kickers, because the alternative is just to horrible to even think of.

How can you say this if we haven't even seen "the alternative" yet? I think Farrooq is nearing retirement anyway, so this is the WWF's chance to seperate him from Bradshaw so Bradshaw can give a singles career another try.

I like the APA split up but I think they should both keep the same character, but back to the original topic...

Stone Cold will be touring with the Raw group like ekedolphin said and there is a seperate Smackdown group touring. However, advertisements for upcoming shows feature Stone Cold with other Smackdown wrestlers. But any show that advertises Stone Cold says that his appearance is subject to change. That could be in case they decide to move him to the other group or if he decides to take some more "time off".

I think we all expect Stone Cold to end up on Raw, but I wouldn't be surprised if he appears with both groups for a little while.

Bradshaw? SINGLES? As long as he stays away from the Stan Hansen Light role, it could work. As for seeing alternatives, the APA wasn't their first gimmick. The preceding gimmicks sucked rocks, and I'm pretty sure the split will lead to something edging towards those previous, sucky, gimmicks. I hope not, but I'm just too cynical to think they could actually do the split right, especially since the writers are much more concerned with making Stephanie's boy toy look good these days...

There has been talk of him going single for a year or so now. He did hold the European Title for a while last year, too, don't forget.

He's a frickin' *HOSS*, so he will be given sevral chances to make it to the next level, much like Test. But just like Test I don't see Bradshaw getting over for long periods of time, unless he gets a real good gimmick that sticks.

One more thing: I never said Bradshaw would be a *successful* singles competiter. I just hope he is for his and the WWF's sake.

No, they never metnioned it. That's why they started refering to them exclusivley as APA, and dropped the "Acolyte Protection Agency" meaning behind it. Plus, they had those t-shirts (that everybody seems to love) that said APA: Always Pounding Ass. Maybe that's what the APA was supposed to stand for towards the end.

i loved that t-shirt!

splitting them up was the right thing to do. i say keep 'em split up. so long as their characters stay the same, they're always going to be over. how long did they go without actually tagging, you know?

Ah, the Acolytes...we hardly knew ye...

FAAROOQ
Entered as Faarooq Assad, some sort of black Roman knight of some kind...; Formed the Nation (of Domination), a violent black supremacist group; Was ousted by young Rocky Miavia/The Rock. Become one of the Undertaker's robotic undead minions as part of the Ministry (of Darkness), formed the Acolytes with Bradshaw after he was inducted into the group.
Minstry joined with the Corporation to form the Corporate Minstry (of Darkness). When the C.M. folded, Faarooq & Bradshaw beat people up before forming the Acolyte Protection Agency in late 1999.

BRADSHAW
Entered as Blackjack Bradshaw, teaming with Blackjack Windham as part of the WWF's ill-fated NWA stable. Stable folded, (Justin Hawk) Bradshaw feuded with Kaientai before teaming with Scorpio a bit...so did Faarooq, I think... Any-hoo, he was inducted into the Ministry (of Darkness), then formed the Acolytes (of Darkness), and so on and so on...hell, same as Faarooq.

So, the undead black supremacist roman knight biker of darkness and the undead cowboy formed the A.P.A. and basically run with the same gimmick for more or less four years. We should ALL be so lucky... Anyhoo, good luck to 'em...they ain't getting reunited.

You forgot the long blonde haired Justin 'Hawk' Bradshaw who either branded people or hit them in the head with a cowbell...I can't remember which. He also tagged along with Uncle Zebadiah, better known as Dirty Dutch Mantel.

APA was one of the most over gimmicks i've seen. Casual fans recognized them and the smart fans didn't hate them (from what i can tell). I dont know if it was a good idea to split them up... but keep the gimmick. Maybe one day we will see them back together.
