Smackdown is Thunder. A Hearse Match? Like those retarded ambulance matches in WCW? Like that THRILLER that Shane and Kane had last year? At least do a Casket Match. At least that might interest those nostalgic Undertaker fans.

And they hyped the hell out of Angle and Guerrero last week as the big rubber match and one week later, they just throw them out there in another gimmick match with a non-finish on top. Just so dumb on so many levels.

Those results give me a crazy headache.

Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree won the Smackdown tag team titles tonight in Tulsa over Billy Kidman & Paul London, with the same finish as last week. Kidman wouldn't do the shooting star press, walked out, leaving London alone, and he was pinned.

Wow, talk about crappy booking. I guess Kidman is gonna go heel? Or Is London gonna go nuts on him once he is tired of Kidman pussying out on him?

It wasn't that bad. Just because Shane didn't jump off the roof onto Kane or whatever doesn't mean it was terrible. The buildup and storyline itself was crap, but the match was decent.

Oh JOY, Big Show is back. At least UT will have something to do after Bradshaw drops the belt to him or Cena or Angle or whoever.

Looks like Charlie Haas drew JTTS duty again. *sigh*

At this point, I'm hoping Kidman gets his head together and he and London challenge Suzuki and Dupree for a rematch at the PPV. Anything's better than yet another tag team breakup angle -- especially when said tag team has been together only a couple months.

I don't blame them for wanting to make Big Show's return a major event, and I'm fine with them leaving us in doubt as to whether he'll be a face or heel. Sucks that he has to step on the main event's finish, though.

Does going after Funaki indicate that Heidenreich! has moved on from the "beating up announcers" phase to the "beating up cruiserweights" phase?

Do they have a rule that only 1 show can be decent/good per week? Prior to this week, Raw was pretty crappy for about 3 weeks running, while SD was pretty good. This week, Raw was OK, while SD looks pretty weak.

Perfect example of the frustrating nature of SD this year - Suzuki/Dupree are now tag champs. They had a perfect angle set up between Chavo/Knoble and London/Kidman. But instead of running with that, they job out London/Kidman to Suzuki/Dupree and hot-shot the break-up angle. Things like this want to make you bang your head against a wall. They have enough material to take them into next year: Knoble stays busy w/ London & Kidman, Chavo comes back, the 2 teams feud, Knoble/Chavo win the belts, London/Kidman break up & feud, Knoble/Chavo go on to feud with FBI (who hold a non-title win over the previous champs).

Not only that, but they've given us no reason whatsoever as to why Suzuki and Dupree are a team, outside of "they're both eeeevil foreigners who kinda don't like Rob van Dam". The least they could do is have a backstage segment with Renee offering to dip his ladle in Hiroku's vichyssoise or something.

Once upon a time in China, some believe, around the year one double-ought three, head priest of the White Lotus Clan, Pai Mei was walking down the road, contemplating whatever it is that a man of Pai Mei's infinite power contemplates - which is another way of saying "who knows" - when a Shaolin monk appeared, traveling in the opposite direction. As the monk and the priest crossed paths, Pai Mei, in a practically unfathomable display of generosity, gave the monk the slightest of nods. The nod was not returned. Now was it the intention of the Shaolin monk to insult Pai Mei or did he just fail to see the generous social gesture? The motives of the monk remain unknown. What is known, are the consequences. The next morning Pai Mei appeared at the Shaolin Temple and demanded of the Temple's head abbot that he offer Pai Mei his neck to repay the insult. The Abbot at first tried to console Pai Mei, only to find Pai Mei was inconsolable. So began the massacre of the Shaolin Temple and all 60 of the monks inside at the fists of the White Lotus. And so began the legend of Pai Mei's five point palm exploding heart technique.

The ONLY thing that sounds interesting in that whole program is Big Show's return. I definitely like that they're keeping his motives unclear.

But, yeah, a hearse match sounds like crap. I thought they WANTED people to buy the PPV's... Have they learned NOTHING from last year's biker chain fiasco?

I'm not so sure that they're keeping Big Show's motives unclear. I mean, didn't both Angle and Guerrero have a hand in Big Show leaving the WWE last time around? It's remarkably consistent that he would attack both of them.

To quote Bobby Heenan: "But whose side is he on?". If they keep him somewhere in between being a face and heel for any length of time, I'm all for that.

Actually, I was about to say, seven months of working at a great paying job, which is the longest I've ever worked so far in my life. Don't like other people finishing my sentences. ;-)

See now I'm all for the tag title switch. It's an interesting move that might bring some excitement to the ranks. They are playing off a real accident (injuring of Chavo) and providing a good storyline because of it.

I may have a soft spot for Kidman (in a manly way), but he and London just aren't going to get a big crowd reaction usually. Now, we have a possible hot feud in Kidman/London and we have a reason to care about Kenzo/Dupree. Plus, this might provide a way for say RVD and Charlie Haas to get back to relevance if they decide to challenge for the belts (playing off the RVD/Kenzo feud).

I'm not going to watch this week (Heidenreich still reeks and JBL still is Bradshaw), but I like the moves they are making.

Joe Wilson (looking at Interocitor manual)- Hey, here's something my wife could use in the house...
Crow T. Robot- A man?
Joe Wilson- An interocitor incorporating an electron sorter.
Cal Meechum- Oh, she'd probably gain 20 pounds while it did all the work for her.
Tom Servo- Cal, you bitch!

I don't mind the Dupree/Suzuki title win. They aren't the guys I would have picked, but whatever. The only thing I fear is that breaking up London v. Kidman will just result in both guys being shoved back down to Velocity hell. It was nice seeing them on the A-show. I just thought the team had some promise, and they really rushed their break-up.

So, I guess No Mercy is looking like:

JBL v. Undertaker
John Cena v. Booker T in the 5th match of the series
Big Show v. Kurt Angle v. Eddie Guerrero (if he's not injured), or maybe something involving Luther Reigns
RVD & Mysterio v. Suzuki & Dupree
Kidman v. London
Heidenreich v. someone (Holly, maybe?)

Not sure how the Dudleyz fit into the card, unless they put them in the tag title match.

The answer to WWE's financial problems...

Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.
