Well on WWE.com, they show Maria being eliminated...only problem is, they removed the moment when she flipped off Carmella...

If they wanted to show the edge of the Dova contest, they should've kept it in...

I was/am bored with RAW.

Orton/Evolution is awful. I guess I am still pissed that instead of drawing it out over the next couple of months, they fast tracked it and in my mind killed a potentially awesome angle. More on this later.

I used to love pre-injury Edge, but I am not a big fan of post-injury Edge. He is missing something that makes me want to care about him. He so desperately needs to be a heel it is not funny. I am hoping that a stable of Edge, Christian, Trish and Tomko will be the next step for him. E&C can always enter and exit the tag picture at will and they can both feud over the IC and Title belt.

I am now officially tired of Eugene. Another angle the could have slow burned but fucked it up by fast tracking a match with HHH. What they need to do now is bring in Eugene's evil twin brother and kill off special Eugene. Dinsmore the wrestler can have awesome matches without the gimmick. A heel Evil Eugene and a heel Regal could spice up the tag division. But for now, special Eugene is tired and dull. But I still love Regal.

Benoit is now in mid-card hell and he will be there for a while. It was like Vince said "OK, your run is over. A deals a deal. Back to feuding with Tomko and the such on Heat". I am hoping that when Edge comes back he can finish his heel turn and his program with Jericho so Christian can turn his attention to Benoit. A Christian/Benoit program would rock and the players (Edge, Jericho, Christian and Benoit) can be interchanged in singles and can also do tag duty. But for now, Benoit has slid way down the roster.

Jericho is like a defeated man, and I love Jericho. I think he knows there is no way he can ever get a real title run again (while HHH is healthy and active) so he puts himself in solid lower level fueds (Edge, Christian, Tomko, Batista) and the Hilight Reel is like his reward for not complaining. He is a company man just riding his time out and having a good time doing so. He is still a soldi wreslter, but I think his heart is not 100% into certain matches and I think he prefers the stick (the Reel included) over wrestling.

Batista is interesting and has shown inprovement, but where is he going? He is not title material and he is the jobber of Evolution. He seems to be locked into the mid-card with no way out. There is definatelt a ceiling there for him and outside of a small IC run, I do not see him holding the Title anytime soon.

And then there is HHH. I hate this man so much it is not even funny. He has found a way to be put in the middle of every major angle for god knows how long. He has killed Kane's character with Katie Vick, Jericho's character with Lucy the dog, never got into a suppossed angle with Edge (who could have used it), got involved in the Eugene angle and has killed any momentum Eugene had and is now a few weeks away from sending Randy orton back to the mid card. HHH is a cancer for the WWE. When he went out with the quad injury a while back, the rest of the roster kind of perked up and saw the door opened and brought their game to the next level. Of course, when he comes back, he takes the air out of the room and slams the door shut. His MO is to build up a wreslter (Kane, Jericho, Benjamin, Orton) by giving them a few sneaky wins or some clever mic work over him and then get his revenge in a high profile match and kills whatever heat said wreslter had. It then takes a fe years for said wreslter to get back to the upper mid card again and to be seen a s a viable ME contender. And then the cycle starts again.

I hate wishing injury on anyone. But I really hope, for the ggod of RAW, that HHH blows his knee out and is out of action for a year or so. If not, then just send Christian, Jericho, Edge, Benjamin and Benoit back to Smackdown for the Big Show and the Undertaker.

Man, am I bitter today or what?

HERE YOU GO - we'll do this without bleeps for fun

Joy: "Thank you, Stacy. Amy, hmmm, let's see - (grabs breasts) - little too firm for my tastes. Christy, like to spank it? I think you need to learn how to get a good spanking (spanks Christy). Carmella, you talk a lotta shit, but you got a gap so wide you could drive a truck right through there, baby. Anything else to say - noooo. Carmella has nothing, she's weak and little, she doesn't even wanna be a diva, you guys." BAAHHH

Amy: "Joy, you need to learn how to lick a pie. Christy, you need to settle your ass down. WHORE, you don't have any respect for the WWE, you know shit about the WWE, and guess what? Having a cock in your ass, has nothing to do with wrestling - BEEITCH!" I think she'd be surprised about that.

Carmella: "I thought you were jealous of me, Amy? You didn't wanna - you didn't wanna - you didn't wanna be me, right? You don't wanna be me? Who tried out for Playboy, Amy? And they LAUGHED. They laughed. And Joy, what a great role model you are, mom. What a great role model. Talk shit on TV. Yeah, shake that fat ass. Shake that fat ass! Shake your fat ass. Christy, I hope you win, honey. That's all I have to say. If I don't win this contest, I hope you win, that's all I have to say."

Christy: "Didn't your mothers tell you not to mess with fire? It's HOT. And I WILL burn you. (shakes her chest) Joy, is this the only thing you can do? Amy, it looks like you been suckin' on something sour, 'cause those lips look like a fish. And Carmella, you're a cum-guzzling gutter slut. And guys, I'm gonna come down on all of you." And she does the splits.

Yup, this was my thinking last night too. WWE needs to at least keep teasing this, having Flair and Batista never lay a single hand on Orton. Then at the end of the match at Unforgiven they come out, HHH starts smiling, and they attack HHH. It would likely have to be a brutal attack to get fans on HHH's side, but it would be a much better way to go in my opinion. Give HHH some time off, give Randy his Evolution music back, and still can fit in the previously mentioned "HHH-Orton at WMXXI" plans as HHH comes back for the Rumble and wins it.

Well, when I go to a WWE show, there are usually LOTS of families and little kids. If this were to take place at an ECW show I wouldn't have cared because there were never little kids at those shows. But WWE shows usually draw a lot of children and families to the shows.

I'm not saying they should go back to the 80s/early-90s kiddie television. I'm just saying that they should be careful about crossing the line. The divas did that tonight. Was I perversely entertained? Yes. But I cringe when I think about the parents who brought their kids to the show.

I don't think this has been mentioned, but I think it was a classy touch for WWE to remember one of their office employees that recently passed away with a "In Memory Of" tribute right before the show began.

RAW Thoughts:

Usual Triple H interview to start things off, followed by Randy Orton and exhibits A, B and C. The loogie picture was hilarious. This Orton turn has been about as well-received as I thought- it will take some time at first for the crowd to "warm up" to him as a face....The handicap match was dull....I guess they're desperate with Eugene, going for the cheap/hometown heat....

Batista v.s Regal was okay, but as with most RAW matches, too short to amount to anything....I can't believe they wasted Michaels at the RNC. Some surprise....Stacy looked pretty hot, as always. The actual segment was, well, my thoughts are pretty much covered elsewhere in this thread. I'll go with the people that said "I can't believe WWE gave these girls a live mic"....

For a split second, I thought Jeff was returning to face Kane. That, or midgets. And yes, I too feared Lita signed her name to the contract....The Benoit/Flair match was pretty decent. Can't they find ANYTHING to do with Benoit?....The Highlight Reel was okay, and Edge was better on the mic than he has been....The women's match was best when Gail was in there (I can't believe I'm typing that)....Even the Eugene/Triple H match was okay, though the Eugene character has run it's course.

She seems to be the only one that they allow to use offense..nevermind that her offense is sloppy, psychology screwy and that she's worse than Billy Gunn with stealing other people's signature moves. Was that an attempt at Edge's Edge-a-cator, or a constipated sharpshooter? Why are they trying so hard to get her useless ass over? If I recall correctly and Jazz isn't injured, then there's no reason they couldn't be using her instead.

Couldn't agree more, and add Matt Hardy(if wasn't for the stupid Lita thing) and maybe Eugene. Some of these guys were hurt in inexplicable ways by being sent to Raw. SD should get back to being the wrestling based show anyway..what with all this horrendous storyline(Kane-Lita) and Diva crap still dominating the show proving that Raw is still more entertaiment based..and in that respect Undertaker and Big Show would be better here. I can't help but feel like creative has been intentionally trying to hurt these guys in favor of getting over guys they(Vince) prefer(orton). I know some will call me paranoid for this, but I don't care. It seems like Orton and Jericho are the only faces who haven't had to deal with a crowd turning against them..and even Orton's reactions are minimal(they can be baited to the golden boy, but even the sheepiest of fans couldn't have been fully ready for a title run.)and Jericho's seems to be falling outside of Canada.

-Evolution/Orton interview- Can't really judge on Randy's music, I'm not loving it but I have to give it a couple of more listens to be fair. The interview was average, didn't sell me totally but didn't seem too out of place either. What's with HHH shirt with a mini skull with long hair on it... Ortont's thrown out of the arena by Bischoff as Orton drops a sledgehammer on Bischoff's foot.

-Resistance/Coachman vs. Rhyno/Tajiri- Did they even put any planning on this match, It was all Grenier putting a headlock on Rhyno... Tajiri didn't even get in the ring, I think I heard he's injured. If he is they should have just skipped the match this night because it just turned out bad.

-Batista vs. Regal- BUT FIRST, Regal chats with Eugene backstage, they watched some Giants game the day before. Not too funny IMO... Onto the match, nice overhead slam by Regal. Flair runs out and hits Regal with knucks in the ribs as Batista delivers the Clothesline from D.C (which is like the last stop before hell.. ooow me with the political statement). What's with all the Batista signs in the crowd?

-Divasearch-Maria is gone, she hugs the girls & flips off Carmella. Stacy says it's important to be able to speak just a week after Lita misreading her vows lol. Diss the Diva. Joy starts(don't like her)squeeze Amy, spanks Christy, goes to Carm & says she talks crap & something about a gap & raises her hand as Carm flinch(Joy a b*tch). Amy next rushes the 1st 2 gals saying Joy needs to learn to lick pie & Chris needs to settle down ha, goes to Carm & says she has no respect for TheE & has a rooster in her mouth... Carm's turn says Amy is jealous as she was laughed out of PB, brings up Joy is a mom & a bad role model(oh) Tells Chris she likes her & hopes she wins if she doesn't (that put Chris in a odd spot). Chris turn, says she's like fire. Rips on Joy for shaking her chest constantly(thanks Chris!) Amy lips sux, won't repeat what she said to Carm. Ends it with a splits & fists the mat(What A FREAK! lol)

-Kane/Lita interview- But first, Lita & Kane walks down the halls as Stratus gives a snide remark about Kane being a good husband taking out the trash. Uh oh Kane stops & confronts but smiles & says he enjoys a good joke(of course he does, he's married to one. I'm sorry, Trish is such a bad influence on me). Trish reaction was funny, she went from uh oh to evil smile cause she got away with it... Kane brings out Matt's family members(Surprise no one really popped for the term "Hardy Boys"). Wait is this a Kane joke or are these guys portraying legit Hardy family members? hehe Kane calmly reminding Lita he send "Matt to the depths of hell". Actually this was a pretty smart & original way to set up a HBK & Kane match, as a Birshoff (thanks Lita) wedding gift was signed by Lita but Gawd I wish Lita would just go heel & set up HBK. Her defiance act from her wedding dress to her speak is getting tired.

-Benoit vs. Flair- Hard chops chops chops... Flair looks pregnant when he's elbowing up from the sharpshooter. I kind of like Benoits tights tonight

-Highlight Reel- The face/heel dynamic is all over the place in this feud. I'm guessing Jericho is the face but he's setting up matches knowing full well Edge is injured. Jericho stings Edge saying he got booed in his hometown & the fans were loving Y2J as he started up a chant. Edge doesn't care what the puppets think because Y2J can get the cheers, he'll just get the wins. And when Edge is healed up (or is it heeled up) he'll go after Jericho. Intense shake, Edge leaves... Just then Christian runs out through the crowd and attacks Y2J. Stage chair to the head, whips Y2J with the belt. Edge looks surprised, Christian smiles at him.

-Victoria/Nidia vs. Kim/Stratus- The match was very good when Victoria and Gail was in there. Nidia was good bumping and playing set up girl for Victoria as Gail got the satellite headsissors on her and Trish got in a few strikes as well. Victoria looked strong with clotheslines & attacks on Gail, a strong headbutt on Trish... Nice sequence at the end with Victoria kick towards Gail head but caught. Victoria then kicks the midsection & goes for The Peak but Gail reverse it to a variation of a sharpshooter but lets it go because she sees a Mystery woman walking down the aisle and gets rolled out for the lose. Nice wrestling in the last minute but real dumb weak ending.

-Eugene vs. HHH- A no DQ match, yet neither guy really did anything with that stipulation during the match. HHH put a sleeper on Eugene and sings "Rocka bye baby" to him(odd)... It might not be a good sign when HHH went to get the sledgehammer and babyface World Champion was standing at ringside to pull it away I had no idea someone was coming to ringside because I heard ZERO crowd reaction, that was kind of strange.

-OtherStuff- Bischoff with foot in ice will get revenge on Orton by making a match of Orton vs.. KANE, No WAY!... Linda, HBK and Hyper Ivory is at the Republican Convention. HBK voice is coming along very nice since Kane injured it, I wonder if he found he's been put in a match. Oh man how funny that this was on JUST BEFORE the Diva Diss segment. Talk about c*ck s*cking wh*res, but who am I talking about the searchers or the convention... Great, the SD rebound is now actually sponsored.

-Line of the Night: Stratus "Just like a married couple, Kane's already taking out the trash "- There were a lot of good choices from Stacy saying every diva needs to speak well, A multiple crazy diva searchers quote and Kane calmly saying he send Matt to the depths of hell. But Trish week after week seems to be coming in with a stinging line.
-Sign of the Night: "I came to see Christy"- Yes, choke on that Matt! Especially after he shrugs off every girl in this as unable to overtake his precious red head in his AstroidBoy reply. I'd take this fiery unstable red head divasearcher any day.
-3Stars of the Night: 1)Christy. 2)Kim. 3)Victoria.

Yes, a divasearcher isn't just a Star but FIRST star. Her Carmella line gets most attention, but her doing really an unexplainable splits, hilarious. But her mocking Joy shaky, shaky won my vote. I agree with Shem totally I thought the best match easily was the women match, Gail & Victoria had some nice imagination to it & good chemistry even with their different styles. Trish & Nidia brought some good intensity... Flair/Benoit brought some hard chops but not too much more. Rest of the male matches seemed like they are going through the motions with hardly any sequences that I thought "Wow that was original or memorable". Is Lita going to stick to woman of defiance much longer? Is Trish going to still hooked up with Christian(I got mixed feelings on this). That new WWE video game cover looks good, original for a WWE title, like someone said looks like a Role Playing game.

I believe I stand corrected...the DX speech might have been the next par up from Bret and the Divas last night.

Still I finally let a friend of mine who works EARLY mornings see it and he replayed with "The WWE has gone porn." I almost agree...it was very on the edge. I also agree with the person who said it was entertaining though very very extreme.

That can be said of all their women wrestlers, and most of them have sloppier offense than her. She also sells and bumps better than almost all of them.

Was that an attempt at Edge's Edge-a-cator, or a constipated sharpshooter?

I'm pretty certain it was an attempt at a (new?) variation of a sharpshooter. It, at the least, did look like it hurt some.

Why are they trying so hard to get her useless ass over? If I recall correctly and Jazz isn't injured, then there's no reason they couldn't be using her instead.

Here are five reasons they can't, and won't, use Jazz instead:

1. Jazz is not a good wrestler. I don't know how or why the idea that she's any good got started.

2. Jazz is ugly.

3. Jazz has no charisma and can't connect with a crowd.

4. Jazz can't talk.

5. Jazz is a dude.
