I would have thought Finland would be higher.

Not confident at all in Team Canada, there's not enough fire power in the defense. Even in offense they have a 3 Lightening offensive players on the team and I don't really know if they are flash in the pans last year... Brodeur better play amazing because his backups are weak.

I think Finland is being under-graded as well, I would easily flip-flop them Russia maybe even to or past Slovakia level.

Edit in: Just checked the structure of the tournament, kind of lame that every team makes it to the playoff round.

smark/net attack wienerville advisory is raised to ORANGE alert - High (Benoit lost the title to some punk kid named Orton, lets look at the positive at least it's a heel not named HHH who has the title, which allows two fresh faces battling for the World title.. whaat? excuse me? what happened on Raw! well scratch that... Over to Smackdown we wave at Justin Bradshaws title reign, I think I'm getting sea sick)- 8/22

I just watching some of this now on NASN FreeView. Why is World Cup held in so many countries? Surely Canada could have held it on its own?

C'mon Caanda is gonna win, well should, with ease, stop making excuses you sound like a Portugal 'soccer' fan after Greece won. At home with the best players, I think should be enough to take home the trophy.

I ran, I ran so far away 'cos I want you to want me and I was angry when I met you, you stupid girl

Can you spot Big Ron Atkinson?

Lecavalier, Richards, and St. Louis are flashes in the pan? I doubt it. They're all top level players and have been for a few years.

And calling Roberto Luongo and Jose Theodore "weak" is just not true, especially in Luongo's case. He's the third best goalie in the league behind Brodeur and Kiprusoff and may be better then Kiprusoff. He won us back to back World Championships. He was a Vezina candidate on the atrocious Florida Panthers. He set a new NHL record for most shots against.

Don't be such a downer, get some confidence in Team Canada.

Preach on, Brother!!! And an extra "Screw you guys. [/Cartman]" from those of us who had perfectly good minor league teams run off by the (ludicrously overpriced) NHL. My closest hockey is the ECHL cities:
