Does anyone know of a good olympics game for DC, PS2, or X-box? The reviews of the new one by 989 are not flattering, and the two reviews of the ones made for the 2000 olympics (Virtua athelete 2000 and Sydney 2000) also got bad reviews.

I actually pulled out my DC the other night to play Sydney 2000, and now I can't find it. I don't remember it being any fun, but it's been four years since I played it, so I could have remembered wrong.
Tennis2k2 still rocks, though. Why hasn't this come to another system yet?
Willful ignorance of science is not commendable. Refusing to learn the difference between a credible source and a shill is criminally stupid.
the athens 2004 game is fun if you play it with friends. playing the decathlon is awesome when the battle goes between you and your buddies..its usually a somewhat tight battle as we have our own favorite events and usually one we suck at. I must say havent really tried much of the non-track&field events..
Hell, the only one I've got is the old Decathlon game for the Atari 2600.
Do they give gold medals for wiggling the joystick back and forth fast enough to get that little b*stard to run fast?
Yep!
Star wipe, and...we're out. Thrillin' ain't easy.

Did you not play Top Spin on XBox or just not like it? It's pretty much the same thing. My only gripe with it is the loading times.
I REALLY like Smash Court Pro Tennis 2 for PS2. A tennis game seems like it would be so easy to make, I wonder why the perfect one isn't out there yet. SCPT2 is as close as I've seen for PS2, though.

Mario Tennis for Gamecube comes out this fall.

As appealing as playing with Donkey Kong sounds, I'd rather have PEOPLE in my tennis game, thank you. Otherwise I might as well be playing Pong. (But that's just me.)
EDITed to say to Jag's post two below mine, Yeah, I've played it. Didn't like it.

Smash Court 2 was ok, but I hated that you couldn't play the whole match. And it wasn't nearly as fun as 2k2.
But for Guru, they actually did put out 2k2 for PS2. I picked it up at Toys R Us as part of their half off thing now. Waaaaaaayyyyy better than SCTPT2.
I take it you don't have a Nintendo 64. If you did, I'd encourage you to go pick up Mario Tennis. Real people or no, it's the best tennis game I've ever played for fun factor.

When the world seems broken, all you can do is laugh.
