Heidenreich; what do we know about him?
Is he gonna be a flop like Mordecai or Suzuki or is this something that will actually work?

(I really dont like his little promo; they just keep saying his name over and over- gee whilickers, thank you WWE for giving me more reasons to watch Smackdown!- so I can hear this crap.)

Is he gonna be like a Brock Lesnar monster-like a figure that is supposed to be "the next big thing" or some crap like that? I mean, Luther Reigns already took Lesnar's attire and wrestling style as well as his haircut- do we need another of these guys or is he actually gonna be something different and good?

As always, I have more questions than answers-
Any Thoughts or Comments? (On Heidenreich, not me.)

What we know about him is that little johnny is the worst gimmick ever for quite possibly the worst wrestler ever.

I found the promo to be quite hillarious. What's wrong with saying "Heidenreich" over and over again, right?

Guess they trashed Little Johnny...God knows what they had planned there.

What I know about it is according to a friend of mine who shall remain nameless the word was passed down to everyone on Smackdown.

It's in your own best interest to make Heidenrich look good.

I think that about says it all.

Heidenreich is that "Little Johnny" Idiot? I had a feeling I'd heard of him before! dammit, I must be a moron. Well, now that I know who he is, my doubts have been doubled.
Excuse my bad memory, and much thanks.

(Still though, why does Luther Reign's current in-ring if not storyline role seem to be a clone of Brock Lesnar's? Are they trying to recreate what Brock Lesnar was supposed to be by instilling it in someone else? Just a quick side-question.)

What we know:

1) he's horrible in the ring
2) he kept hurting people in his past matches
3) he's going to be just another "ME BIG, ME SMASH!" guy
4) if the past is any indication, he won't get over

The sooner he's gone, the better (that goes for you, too, Suzuki).

I wouldn't say that. Brock was steamrolling over the competition for his own purposes, and those of Paul Heyman, but Brock was the main player. Luther Reigns is involved in protecting another wrestler and has not won all of his matches thus far.

As far as Heidenreich goes, I'd have to agree with everyone else and say that I haven't been impressed with his work in the past or his current promos.

I've heard different reports from house shows that have said both "wow, this guy has improved a lot" and "wow, this guy's even worse than before". I don't think it's fair to say the guy is terrible, since he has had eight or nine months in OVW to improve, and it wouldn't be fair to trash him sight unseen in case he has actually put the work in and gotten better.

That said, he'll have to have improved an unbelievable amount since he was last on TV to warrant even being called up, since he could well have been the worst wrestler since Giant Gonzalez at that time.

The fact that he's with Paul Heyman already gives him a HUGE advantage over any of the other SmackDown goofs who arrived via vignette (Nathan Jones, Kenzo Suzuki, Mordecai, Rey Myste...er, never mind the last one).

Virtually everyone Heyman has been aligned with in WWE (Brock Lesnar, Team Angle, Big Show, etc.) has done better with the guy in their corner than without him....

I'll keep it real simple.

He was the weak link of his original tag team. His partner was Nathan Jones.

Not enough said?

He injured Stevie Richards twice during his last WWE run.

He's got a good look, but he's not any good in the ring.

Was this in OVW? Because I remember Heidenreich being on Raw and Jones being on Smackdown, teaming with Matt Morgan.

Before canonizing Heyman, he also had Matt Morgan and Nathan Jones briefly last year around Survivor Series.

That's when I liked Jones the best, though. I was actually disappointed when he quit.

As far as Heidenreich goes -- I'm already more interested in him as a heel enforcer than as a good guy, like he was last time. I think that role will be more forgiving of shortcomings, as well.

I'm optimistic. Why not be?

If Heidereich was going to be Heyman's 911 than I'd say that he would be okay, but since Kurt already has a 911 and the WWE is going all out Heidenreich videos I fear for the worst. I once thought another over pushed Hoss would suck but Batista ended up surprising me. I think that the WWE would have been better off giving Heyman a raw talent that could be molded like Rodney Mack. Then again if Heyman can get Heidenreich over than he probably can get that broom that Ric Flair is suppossed to wrestle over as well.

Well, being down here in Louisville and seeing Heidenriech about once every two weeks, I have to say that I'm not really seeing that much improvement on the guy. He has the look down, that's for sure. From a wrestling standpoint, as I mentioned in one of the Six Flags review here, many of his moves appear to be in slow-motion. He's not obviously sloppy, just slow.

I can't recall seeing him paired up with Nathan Jones in OVW. I do recall Jones being paired up with Matt Morgan at a couple of houseshows, but Jones was only here in OVW for a few weeks before he quit and he never did any television work for OVW (Cornette and Davis are pretty good about not having people in front of the cameras until they're ready, ESPECIALLY if the wrestler is someone that has been sent down by WWE). Heidenreich only started appearing in front of the cameras again in the past couple of months really.

I don't hate the guy, but I'm not overly impressed by him either. Matt Morgan I have more faith in. He is not only super-over with the audience at OVW, but can actually move pretty well for a big guy. I could see Morgan having a good career ahead of him in WWE . . .

. . . if used right.

They were never paired in OVW because they kept being brought in at different times. The first time Jones & Heidenreich were signed to developmental deals, Jones had to leave the country due to visa issues. The second time Jones was signed, he was fast-tracked up to WWE. They did both start up together in UPW, which is where I initially saw them.

1. Wrestling is fake. Why do we need someone to beat up the Undertaker? I certainly don't need that. He's never done anything to me.

2. Goldberg is very easy to beat, all that has to happen is the booker has to say, "Bill, you're jobbing tonight".

3. Goldberg is no longer with the WWE.

4. Fuqking? Really, now.
