You'd think that McKeon could've at least gotten the last All-Star in Montreal history into the game, eh?

Kenny Rogers, also of the Rangers, didn't get to play. Fucking Torre.

Rogers is nursing some sort of an ankle/hammy/groing strain isn't he? I think each manager was saving a starter just in case the game went into extras so they could go three innings or so. Because, you know, this one counted.

(Not Bob Kohm)

In the context of baseball, the use of drugs hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, the use of alcohol hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, womanizing hurts whom? Maybe the wife of the player? In the context of baseball, felonies are crimes against society, not against baseball. In the context of baseball, gambling is the only crime against baseball.

Gambling, in the context of baseball, is a capital offense and Rose has richly earned-- hell, he agreed to-- his death sentence. Let him hang.

Bob Kohm, co-owner of Rotojunkies.com (rotojunkies.com) , and a large market kind of guy.

It wasn't like it was a 2 run lead.. 5 runs equals blowout territory. I feel actually bad for CoCo, because this was a huge deal for him, and it's first one, and he doesn't even get to see a batter? Fuck you, Joe Torre. Rogers, yes he's had an injury, but he pitched Saturday through it, and he was healthy enough to go. It really boils down to Torre having something against the Rangers.

The way I see it, nobody got injured. It was the worst All-Star Game I've ever seen: bad audio thanks to FOX, the interior lighting of the stadium created a 1970s feel, and I hated the ground camera to each side of the batter's box. People don't get used in All-Star Games most years. This is nothing new. It's better than Cordero getting injured. Because I'll bet that would somehow end up being Torre's fault as well. The players all get paid whether they play or not. It's not a big deal.

The problem the Dodgers have is they have money invested in Kevin Brown, Kazuhisa Ishii and Hideo Nomo (which they should, except for maybe Nomo, but even he's not BAD), so they start.
