Looks like the Heat signed Michael Doleac to back up Shaq. I like this move, gives us an insurance policy in case Shaq gets hurt for a little, plus he can play power forward.
Yo, it's me, it's me, it's (points to self) P-A-B!

Doleac is a jump shooter who, if he plays 12 minutes a night, does well. If the Heat are forced to play him long minutes, he will get badly exposed.
You Don't Trade Shaq! You don't replace a center like that with the Greg Ostratag's out there. It's a horrible move and if Kobe leaves for the Clips than the Lakers are done. Done for years to come.

As if they aren't done already? Especially if Shaq's replacement is Brian Grant, the most overrated player in the game.
Idiot (noun): 1. A foolish or stupid person. 2. A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive. 3. Los Angeles Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak for trading away Shaquille O'Neal for NO all-stars in return, about to face a trade demand from Gary Payton, and STILL facing the possibility of losing Kobe Bryant to the Clippers. Truly astounding.
What was ESPN thinking giving away that interview on SportsCenter for free when they could have let the camera roll for two more hours, refer to it as a SHOOT INTERVIEW and packaged it?
Among the highlights:
-"That was not a team last year"
-Goes against the Laker party line by implying not one but four times that Phil Jackson didn't resign so much as he was fired.
-"Me and Kobe were married? I ain't marrying no man!". Thinks Kobe would be the best ever "if he would just do the little things".
-Implies that Jerry West was in fact turfed out of Los Angeles.
-Says there was no way he was being traded to Dallas, since Kupchak told him there was no way he was trading Shaq anywhere else in the Western Conference. "Smart...send me as far away as possible"
-Wouldn't have withdrawn his request to be traded even if the Lakers had told him they were keeping him and getting rid of Kobe.
