1) I went to an autograph signing for Chris Benoit. TONS of people showed up. I had him sign the picture that they had, plus I bought a plaque for it. When I talked to him, he really seemed like a down-to-earth, nice guy. Not overly charismatic like John Cena, but not silent like Triple HIV. He smiled and was happy all his fans showed up, and talked to everyone, shook their hand, and got a pic with him and the belt. I actually waited till it was over so I could talk to him more, but he had to go for a house show. I asked when the DVD was coming out and he said, a couple of weeks, like mid/end of July. Awesome guy, awesome wrestler.
2) I did the "Catch the Buzz, Feel the Bling" commercial. I did everyone's favorite, John Bradshaw Layfield (EXTREME SARCASM). I dressed in a suit with a yellow tie, and a black cowboy hat that had a red stripe that said "Beef Beyond Belief" from where I work (A&P) (I couldn't find a white cowboy hat). I stood behind a limo at some limo place, and held a can of YJ Stinger, and read these words in the best southern accent I could do (please don't copyright me):
"Hi, my name is John Bradshaw Layfield. And when I want to complain about Internet reporters, or if I want to lower pay-per-view purchases by headlining, or if I want to kick Mexicans out of America, I like to drink YJ Stinger…The Extreme Energy Drink made exclusively by Stacker 2. It’s a real American drink, and it’s the perfect boost you need after being fired from CNBC, or for walking goosesteps in Germany. So if you love America, but hate the people in it, you’ve got to get yourself some YJ Stinger, and you’ve got to catch the buzz and feel the sting." ::Drank, wipe mouth::
I really did submit this. I really hope he sees my tape, I would love for him to write something about me.
P.S. Please don't get rid of this thread just yet.
The last match was awesome. I really liked it. I was pissed at Junior Fatu being involved because...well, because he's Junior Fatu. But then he hit the JUNIORDRIVER and that was pretty cool. I missed the first half-hour because I went to see 3:
