So...each man gets ten picks - HHH, Jericho, and Steph are ineligible - SCSA is a "free agent" - and everyone else goes in a *lottery*?

I'll have to see how this goes.

Steph

EDIT: So Vince chooses the Rock. Most of us figured on this

So Flair must be picking Taker or Hogan, right?

Hard to tell - but I believe that was a picture of Angle (I thought I saw his medals).

I am very unhappy right now, only 1 pick in. Here in Champaign, they show Smackdown on Saturday nights. So needless to say, I hardly ever get to see it unless it is on tape. And now, my favorite wrestler, The Rock is on Smackdown? I always watch Raw on Monday nights. Oh well, it was pretty funny with his new catchphrase thing. Maybe they will trade UT for the Rock.

I don't see why Undertaker was so bent out of shape. He threatened Flair to choose him last week - Flair just gave him what he wanted.

2028 - Vince tells the Undertaker that he's going to "make it right". Do I smell a trade?

Am I the only one who thinks UT would have pitched a high holy fit backstage if he didn't get drafted as one of the first two picks? Especially without Austin there?

(edit) Hmmm...Rock and Angle vs. UT and the NWO....kind of gives short shrift to that thought of Raw becoming more wrestling based huh?

(edit 2) Add Benoit to that Rock and Angle list...I think I'll be watching SD religiously barring a LOT of movement.

Nope. I think that too. And like him or hate him he's been with the wwf throughout. He deserves a high pick if your looking at it like that.

Anyone else think that the WWF is playing with the Internet community?

The majority of us thought that Vince would draft big men, and Flair would draft workers. The Result? Flair drafts the Brothers Grim and the nWo - Vince drafts the Rock, Angle, and Chris Benoit.

Most interesting.

Steph

EDIT: Flurry of picks there - Booker T and The Big Show to Flair, Edge and Rikishi to Vince. Looks like Flair's rebuilding WCW, doesn't it?

Here's what looks to be a real-time window of the draft picks, linked off wwf.com.

Ah, but since Billy & Chuck are the *champions*, they can be drafted as a unit - or so says JR.

The Dudley break-up was an obligatory "Asshole Vince" move - didn't someone predict that Vince would do this if Flair tried to draft a "name" tag team?

They stipulated earlier that since they were the tag champs they would be taken together.

That's because they are the tag team champions... and the Dudley's aren't. You can't really split up the tag team champions, now can we?

EDIT- I meant to say 'now'

So that means every OTHER tag team can be split up? Oy. I don't know how many Billy and Chuck wins by forefeit because there are no tag teams left I can take.

I'm sure they only did that to the Dudley's was because Flair picked one and so on... I'm sure they won't break up all the tag teams. I'm sure there will be some sort of trade or something?
