"The word going around is that Paul Bearer’s current run with WWE will most probably finish up at the PPV this weekend.
SO..Bearer is leaving WWE again? Was this the plan all along? To come in and give "dead" Undertaker that old school feeling? I really would have thought he would have hung around longer than this. Especially since they really haven't use Taker and Bearer a whole lot.

Actually, Paul Bearer was vocal on his website that 'Taker had not called him since he departed WWE. He was also saying Taker didn't even call him to see about his wife's cancer which was apparently a very dire situation at a certain point, and how he was surprised that Taker would be that way. They did run together for a long, long time, but I didn't get the impression that they had any enduring friendship.
In fact, I don't recall Taker being friends with anyone except those Kronik guys.
Anywho, if Bearer really is leaving...that sucks, as it will probably hasten the return of the Biker version.

One of the true mark-out moments of Wrestlemania XX for me was hearing "OOOOOHHH Yesssssss!" and seeing the MSG crowd on PPV just lose it, seconds before the "Bong!" of the Taker's music. Goosebumps, I tell ya.
So if he's leaving then on a storyline level The Dudleys and Paul Heyman would now be guilty of first degree murder.
Last time I checked Kidnapping across statelines and murder carried the death penalty at the Federal Level.
But hey if Paul Bearer signed some sort of form then I guess its all cool.
Yeah it's a good thing they waited till now to bring in more people on the creative team.

The intrigue for me with this story is whether Paul Bearer/Percy can come back to the Internet after he is let go (assuming that this story is accurate). Will the IWC let bygones be bygones just because a manager is a big name? Will Percy stay away and just accept Indy bookings?
And of course...will any of us care what he decides to do?
Joe Wilson (looking at Interocitor manual)- Hey, here's something my wife could use in the house... Crow T. Robot- A man? Joe Wilson- An interocitor incorporating an electron sorter. Cal Meechum- Oh, she'd probably gain 20 pounds while it did all the work for her. Tom Servo- Cal, you bitch!
I think you're both (HMD and asteroid) right -- they had a falling out that Brother Paul ranted about on his website (around the time of the Katie Vick angle, I believe), but then Taker pushed for him to be brought back when he agreed to go through with the resurrection angle, since they'd made plans with Paul as far back as last October.
... except Undertaker gets cheered even when he's beating on Cena, for Pete's sake.

UT will probably win at the PPV, stop anyone from pouring the cement in, then grab the control and do it himself or something.
I'm kind of surprised they'd think about turning him heel so fast (especially since heel Undertaker always gets cheered anyway), but I'd rather see him be a heel anyway if he's going to be the undead guy.
I'm assuming both sides knew that this would just be a short run.
IMO, Percy did enough a job by just doing the "Oh, Yes!" at Wrestlemania. The bar I was at popped huge for that. The only things they popped more for were the two title match victories.

Who cares if he's leaving? The highlight of Paul Bearer's WWE run was the locker room interview with Jerry Lawler where Paul talked about how studly he was back in his younger days and how he nailed Undertaker's mom. That was the only time he was ever remotely interesting and/or entertaining...

I just thought Paul Bearer never really fit in this time around. I liked a bit more old-school Undertaker coming back but having a chubby little manager carrying around an urn it just seemed out of place with the Undertaker even with the retro character seemed to have out grown that.
Al Wilson now Paul Bearer. They have to bring back the old WCW Halloween Havoc PPV/set with tombstones to remember these long lost characters.

Yes, I believe you're correct, MonteCarl. But really, if you have to go to the trouble of making a blurred DVD or video, it's not really worth the trouble of making a second version.
