Billy reportedly signed a 3 year contract with WWE recently, according to the latest Wrestling Observer. What the hell could they want with him for 3 years? None of the current flock of fans have any idea who he is, what good could he possibly bring? It will be interesting how Vince books him though; remember Vince likes to put former adversaries in degrading angles and situations for his own sick pleasure.

Billy Graham also was Vince's idol when he was younger.
I imagine a lot of this has to do with Graham's upcoming book.
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened. - The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
The way Vince has been tossing stuff at the wall to see what will stick, I wouldn't be suprised at all if Graham made his way onto my TV any time soon.
Or maybe Vince wants him for the triumphant return of Mr. America?

With Angle´s wrestling comeback on the horizion (and his comeback´s are always pretty soon on the horizion, since he´s not exactly a slow-healer!) I could see Billy Graham as the new SD-GM! He has the charisma and mic skills to do a good job, don´t you think? And Heyman seems to be busy wth his new "stable"! At least Graham would be a better GM than Kurt, because in my opinion Kurt Angle is the worst GM/President/Ceo/Comish ever! (Nothing against Kurt the wrestler!) Besides that it could be good to have a babyface as GM, because I´m sick and tired of all those screw jobs and evil GM stuff!

If Vince is looking for a WWF legend to come in an play warden to the inmates and boost ratings, he's gotta bring in Bret. The Hitman has to be at least as mobile as Graham by this point.

Just don't let Graham anywhere near the commentators' desk. Some of us still remember and retch at the sound of Graham trying to be the color man for Summerslam 1988.
Joe Wilson (looking at Interocitor manual)- Hey, here's something my wife could use in the house... Crow T. Robot- A man? Joe Wilson- An interocitor incorporating an electron sorter. Cal Meechum- Oh, she'd probably gain 20 pounds while it did all the work for her. Tom Servo- Cal, you bitch!

It could be for that, or it also could be one of those rare instances where Vince The Humanitarian appears, as he could give Graham a low money deal but provide health insurance for him.

I'll never forget when HTM was out there calling for someone to come out and wrestle him. Warrior's music starts up, and BOTH ANNOUNCERS PRETEND THEY DON'T KNOW WHO IT IS. Finally after like 10 seconds of stalling, Graham says something like "that familiar music!"
I was like 9 or 10 years old at the time, but even then I could tell it was one of the dumbest things I'd ever heard.
Superstar would be a good trainer for interviews. Maybe the guys that lack mic skills can learn from Billy. The GM spot would only benefit to get the old school fans (over 30) to watch again, but that would be a short lived experiment. I say if Superstar is there he needs to be a step above Young and Mullah, but a step below other returning stars. Maybe a return to the "Body Shop", and interview segment replacing Jesse Ventura.
My guess too would be Smackdown GM after seeing a poll on WWE.com a week back asking which hall of famer would be a good GM. The people on the poll were: *Superstar Billy Graham *Harley Race *Don Muraco *Sgt. Slaughter *Greg Valentine *Jesse Ventura
I think you guys are looking a little too into this... I suspect he's just taking Freddie Blassie's spot of being the link/voice to wrestlings past.
smark/net attack wienerville advisory stays at BLUE alert - Guarded (With Benoit & Eddie being World & WWE champions you'd expect all's be right but couldn't do it due to Trish/Y2J character switches & whats the deal with JBL PPV main event)- 5/6
My guess would be a one shot storyline with Orton and then moved to a non-wrestling role or possibly like others eluded to, a behind the scenes role. And I also echoe the sentimets, stay away from the announce table Superstar.
So, since the WWE seems to be on full fledged auto piolet right now, I don't see this angle ending well for the NXT guys. It reminds me of when the ECW guys got together during the WCW Invasion.
