I think this weeks show was one of the worst they have put on in the last two months. The whole Jarrett segment with Russo was horrible and heat less for the most part. The tag team voting was a total joke because TNA knew Daniels was hurt and put him in it anyway. Stuff like that will turn off more fans because it lets down people who are there biggest supporters. I thought the Raven stuff was good but when you look at it its still Sabu V Raven and neither man is in there prime or even close to it. I think Raven can book a good feud but like the Shane Douglas feud last summer I don't think it will produce any good matches. Everything was really off the whole night including the botched finish in the main event plus it kind of hurts when your free show looks better then your PPV now. TNA needs to hit home runs every week if they want to stay alive and last night they struck out.

I ordered the show out of curiosity about the six sided ring and was very disappointed in it. Styles/Kazarian was well below expectations botched finish aside, Sabin/Shane had no energy, and watching Jarrett walk through 3 Live Kru like they weren't even there was just bad for any number of reasons.

I can understand wanting to go slowly until the FSN show catches on and you've got a larger audience to sell your marquee matches to, but this show was just bland and served as a pretty good reminder of why I don't buy the shows unless there's something special going on.

I'm liking the upcoming Styles/Kash feud. These two can really go and could put on some classic match-ups. TNA is doing the right thing by main eventing their X guys now. That's they're bread & butter and they know that.

Now if we can get a future Styles/Daniels feud, I would be really happy ...

That's one thing I will give them credit for: I think making the X division guys the focus of the show is their best shot to make it big. Jeff Jarrett may have some name recognition but he's not a draw. The X guys are what sets them apart, and if they're going to focus on the wrestling end of the business then these are the guys that will sell it. They just need the guys to come through when given the shot, which didn't happen last night.

I don't know what show you guys were watching, but the show I watched was really good. The Jarrett segment at the beginning was supposed to be over-the-top. I don't understand why people are saying that he books himself over everyone else. He had one interview and a stipulation match. Guys like Meltzer saying that all he did was bury Road Dogg and Konnan...that's just stupid thinking. Road Dogg and Konnan aren't regular wrestlers. Fans don't look at their losses and say, "Buh God Cletus, them 3 Live Krew fellers must suck since they lost to Jeff Jarrett. I dun think I can ever look at them the same way again!" They lost to the World Champ. It would have been worse if a guy like Road Dogg beat Jarrett.

And the AJ Styles/Kazarian match was amazing. Besides the botched finish (which I blame on the ref), everything went smoothly. Styles demonstrated unique ways to get someone into the Styles Clash and Kazarian showed unique ways to get out of it. The action was stiff when it needed to be (towards the end because they were trying to keep the other one down), there were sick bumps (the superplex to the outside) and there was a history between the two men (the botched Styles Clash in their last match).

It seems the people who had a problem with this show just don't like NWA:TNA in general and are doing whatever they can to hate the product.

In rebuttal...

I agree, it would be stupid to have a guy like Road Dogg beat Jeff Jarrett. It's equally stupid, though, to have the heel champion run through all the members of the face stable he's gonna feud with in succession and in a couple of minutes each. Even Killings needed a distraction to win, and he was the last guy AND a guy being positioned as a world title challenger. Does it hurt James or Konnan in terms of their acceptability as world title contenders? No, frankly. Does it render them useless for the rest of this angle? Yeah, pretty much.

Styles/Kazarian was far from amazing. It took a while to get going and they blew a number of spots, including Styles totally whiffing on top rope move that ended up being the finish. I've seen Styles many other times, he's capable of better than that.

I don't wanna hate TNA. They've got some workers in there I like, and I'd be happy to order it more often if they were more consistent. As it stands, though, it's hit or miss, which is fine for Raw or Smackdown but not gonna cut it when they want $10 out of me to check it out.

I like all of these people but I don't see any of these as a big deal. You make it seem like there is a big exodus of unhappy people but D'Lo is going to a bigger federation that is going to let him wrestle.
