Isn't it amazing the ego this guy has? Sure, he's an EXTREMELY successful guy who has accomplsihed a lot, but let's examine what he has done.
He took over his fathers company, had a few clever ideas, and turned it into something huge. He than went and catered to the least common denominator and was successful despite the fact that his product was inferior.
So why is this guy regarded as a "genius"?
His body building league? Failure. XFL? Massive failure and a complete joke.
Face it, Vince is a hack, and I'm sure there are plenty of others who agree with me.
Wrestlemania, national expansioon/takeover, PPVs, rock n wrestling, Hogan, Rock, Austin, HHH, breaking up the Rockers, changing "Mean Mark" into somebody called the Undertaker, Saturday night's main event, Raw, WWF "attitude" and so much more, even if you didn't like all of it, for wrestling, those ideas were tremendous moneymakers. What would you call a genius in wrestling, not counting Lanny Poffo? And I don't think he is a great person but to brush him aside is pretty short sighted.
This makes me want to laugh. Vince McMahon has to be doing something right if I schedule my week around watching RAW. He brought in good wrestlers and middling to okayish writers, and the result is some good wrestling on one show and a bunch of wacky storylines on the other show. They can't all be winners. But the ten year period of good wrestling and semi-good angles makes me firmly believe that Vince is NOT a hack. Genius? Hardly.

Vince is a man who ran a VERY successful wrestling organazation. He's had some brilliant ideas, and he's had some ideas that were beyond stupid. Is Vince a genius? I don't think so. However, considering he's the only major wrestling company left right now, I find it hard pressed to say he's a hack.
The answer to WWE's financial problems...
Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.
