It's similar, but I don't recall Jericho swinging his arms.

Think of a goosestep as sort of like wind-up toy soldiers (stiff arms and legs, swinging in very deliberate fashion) that look like they're leaning a little too far backwards.

Jericho does more of a Python silly walk, he bends his legs and back a bit.
Like Hairraiser says, picture toy soldiers or one of those ceremmonial militairy parades from Russia..

Though this is a bad thing to do, I am not sure if I'd fire the guy or anything close. Call him stupid for being an ass a few times and perhaps a fine, but nothing public.
No need to draw attention to it.
And though I know it is illegal and very poor taste, I am sure a lot of people do Nazi greets all the time mocking Germany and all that.

I may be taking this too seriously but I see this as Bradshaw making fun in the light of 6 million Jews being killed 60+ years ago and thousands of soliders losing their lives because of the Nazi regieme.

Let's try to put this in perspective, and think of what Bradshaw really did, and what effects it really will have in the long-run. I mean, in the grand scheme of things, will anybody really be harmed by this? Doesn't this amount to nothing more than an off-colored joke?

Now certainly I think it is the responsibility of visitors to be aware of the laws of other nations that they visit (regardless of how silly they may be). So if Germany chose to prosecute, they certainly could. But if Germany itself is going to let this slide, why the heck should we get up in arms about it? Afterall, Bradshaw was clearly doing this to be BOOED, he wasn't expecting cheers because he thought the Nazis were such good guys. Does anybody really think Bradshaw supports Nazis?

I'm afraid your talking COMPLETE crap.

So you are trying to tell me that it was an "off-colored joke".

So your telling me if I took a sign to Summerslam that said "BOOKER T IS A DAMN NIG*ER" it would be an "off-colored joke".

It's irrespective or not whether Germany liked it, disliked it or had no response at all. The fact is, 7.5 million people died over that "off-colored joke", and I don't give a rats ass whether you consider it a joke or not.

Racism is wrong. So why isnt Nazism? because they are effectively the same thing.

I agree with hhgamewmx7 completely in that he should at least have his wages looked at for that stunt.

Quiz champion, The Game Show Web Ring Master. Some people make distasteful remarks and try to make out it's 'a joke' when people get offended. It's that kind of thing that shouldn't be accepted.

I quite believe the incidents mentioned were done deliberately, maybe for financial gain, or why make comments 'they don't mean'.

I knew of this German law banning any Nazi actions or activities such as the salute. Therefore fine Bradshaw to the maximum the offense warrants.

I wonder is 'The Germans' episode of 'Fawlty Towers' banned as it shows Basil's numerous efforts to be offensive to his German guests, including the goose stepping and salute.

On another note, Eddie Guerrero seems unpopular in Germany, Edge was booed in England, while Ric Flair got the fans cheers. International differences unite !

Bah, if he wanted to get some REAL heat in Germany, he should have busted out the American flag belt buckle (and matching lapel pin), ridden to the ring in an F-150 and said, "The TURRORISTS hate our freedom!!"

Not that I'd want to poop on the notion of Bradshaw being stupid, but I'd be astounded if he would be so dumb as to perform Nazi salutes in Germany without at least running it buy some of the higher ups in advance, ergo any notion of fining him would seem a tad unfair.

I'd say a better analogy would be a worker who had just been given a bollocking by his boss performing a Nazi salute behind his boss's back as he walks away. Personally I'd say that doesn't make the worker the scum of the earth, but I suppose if he got caught it could result in financial penalties.

I'm disgusted that JBL had to go to low cheap jibes reminding everybody of a terrible time in the world. I think it does nothing for his or WWEs reputations (as if WWE haven't pushed the envelope too far already). He is setting the example of what others in his country think about Germans. I'm sure Americans do not relate Germans with the Nazi salute. He definitely should be punished in some way.

What's the station he's on? CNBC? MSNBC? It would be amusing if enough people wrote to it complaining about what he did..."This is the kind of person your station approves of? You want to have someone who would joke about something this catastrophic (on D-Day, no less) on your network?" etc.

If they fired him, it would be an amusing way to get back at him for the if-you're-on-the-internet-and-have-an-opinion-about-wrestling-you're-gay comments.

I read (half-believing) that Eddie's getting stressed out being champ, flipping off crowds and all, so I'm afraid that this goose stepper may be the next WWE champ anyway. I'd like to hope I'm wrong, but this IS the WWE. Fortunately, since I haven't been watching Smackdown for almost 5 months, I want to send my apologies to those who still are. I feel for you guys.

After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's three things I know for sure...

2)I'd make a fine Mrs. HHH II.
3) I'd make an acceptable Mrs. Orton.

The History Channel relied so much on WWII programming when they first started, and still have so much, that considering their big H logo (save the Helmsley jokes, people), they were jokingly called "The Hitler Channel." Of course, for us military buffs, that's not a bad thing...{DDP}...that's...a good thing! {/DDP}

Ever stop to think that it isnt John Leyfield doing that, but the CHARECTOR JBL? As much as a partiot as he is, and as much as he supports the US troops, through words and actions, I would find it hard to believe that the MAN would intentionally align himself with anything pro Nazi.
