Remember back in the dying days of WCW Nitro(may have been during Russo's second reign of terror) when they had an online poll to determine Booker T's opponent for that night, and the site crashed? I think that if the WWF did that properly, it might make a cool episode of Raw, if they actually followed through with it and had the match instead of just having whoever won the poll get attacked by the guy they wanted to win. Although I doubt WWF.com could handle that many people logging on at once...

If the WWF planned to do such a vote, I am fairly confident that WWF.com would be adequately prepared for an onrush of fan voting. This IS the WWF you're talking about and not WCW. While their storylines have been lame as of late - their production and web organization has always been light years ahead.

I remember in the WCW days they had wrestlers on MTV and
each one represented a video. Supposedly they played
the match and you got to telephone vote who would win
in some mini-tournament, but later on they just stood
around. The calls cost money in case someone wanted
to vote more than once.

MAYBE WWF's webpage was better than WCW but that isn't saying much, but WWF does not have a good website by any stretch of the imagination, as big as the WWF is it should be light years better than what it is.
