From what I've heard, though, Collins'll be the new starter for Da Raidahs. I guess that leaves Gannon available...but something tells me he's too, how you say, old and crappy to fill in between Favre and whoever in a couple of years.
The carousel continues...*grumble*
Well, despite what Tim Brown says, the Raiders contend that Rich Gannon is the starting QB. Collins will start the year as the backup (despite all the money he's making), and move up if Gannon continues to underperform.
As a Raider fan, I don't think either guy is the answer to our problems. Our offense is still suspect with a still-bad O-line and no good running back. It might be another long season for my Raidahs, but we'll see.
Joe Wilson (looking at Interocitor manual)- Hey, here's something my wife could use in the house... Crow T. Robot- A man? Joe Wilson- An interocitor incorporating an electron sorter. Cal Meechum- Oh, she'd probably gain 20 pounds while it did all the work for her. Tom Servo- Cal, you bitch!

Half right, word around here is that Gannon is getting cut June 1. Gannon's shoulder isn't right after surgery still, and he doesn't fit in with Norv's slightly more vertical passing game. TS: You mean you don't like the prospects of Tyrone Wheatley and Troy Hambrick as your primary runningbacks this year?

In the context of baseball, the use of drugs hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, the use of alcohol hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, womanizing hurts whom? Maybe the wife of the player? In the context of baseball, felonies are crimes against society, not against baseball. In the context of baseball, gambling is the only crime against baseball.
Gambling, in the context of baseball, is a capital offense and Rose has richly earned-- hell, he agreed to-- his death sentence. Let him hang.

We're finally far enough along that I can do this without having too many ridiculous ties. With some of these, it's questionable which team is ahead. Is a 5-0 conference record better than a 3-0 conference record?
