Here's an interesting article about the TNA/Fox Sports deal from the newspaper here in Nashville ... notice the errors when referencing WWE's product.

I get Fox Sports Midwest. THey run Best Damn Sports Show like 5 times a day. The only sports show that never talks about sports.

Anyway, you think this channel will air the TNA deal?

I think it's great that they got a TV deal but they got one shitty time slot!

I'll vouch for that from experience. TV time is damn expensive, and it's a struggle for anybody not named WWE to keep up the cash flow to keep your product on the air.

Unless you've got a Viacom-type deal to get paid for your product, you can't survive long putting your wrestling on TV...at least not on the scale you want to be on.

Find thee some more money marks, NWA-TNA. You're gonna need 'em. (And seeing as how we're NWA-affiliated, and we have some of their guys on our shows under indy bookings, I sure as hell hope they do.

Finally, something good on FSN. DirecTV gives us the Minnesota FSN in my area, even though friends of mine with digital cable get the Wisconsin version. Why would I care about the Vikings, the T-Wolves, the Wild, & the Twins? But TNAW means I have a reason to go back to it. I'll just have to figure out what channel number it is again...

NOTE: The above post makes no sense. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Friday at... wait, let it sink in... 3 PM?!
They might as well declare bankrupcy and sell their soul to WWE now, most people aren't even home at 3 PM.

And yes Mr. Boffo, Im gonna have trouble finding that damn channel too- Im thinking Channel 24 or 36... hmmm...

I do find it funny that the wrestling crowd loves being anti-establishment and stuff but the WWE feels (and might be right) that it's fan has no trouble cheering for a complete manufactured wrestler.
