Is having a RAW PPV every two months really making people forget that this is the only match that has headlined a RAW PPV for the last 6 months or so?
Granted, they did let Benoit bask in their spotlight, but HHH/HBK needs to end at the 2004 Royal Rumble.
Well, they are BY FAR the two biggest names employed by the WWE right now (especially on RAW). The only guy in their stratosphere is the Undertaker.
Meanwhile, they are trying to make stars out of Benoit, Eddie, etc....but until those guys get established, household name recognition, we will probably continue to see HHH-HBK and the like.

Kane/Benoit could be good, but Jericho/Benoit is a match of the year candidate. I am also getting tired Christian/Jericho, so I am hoping their blow-off match is this monday. Either way, HBK vs. HHH in Hell in the Cell cannot suck espically if neither one has the title.
HHH/HBK could be a good solid sub-main event. Sticking in the HIAC stip means it should put a nice punctuation mark on a feud which, while rather drawn out, has been pretty well booked and also provided some great matches.
Throw in Orton/Benjamin, Benoit/Jericho and what have you and it should be a pretty solid card.

Apparently he was scheduled to be gone to film the WWE movie already but is now hanging around till Bad Blood. Depending who you believe this may or may not be because of one of the following:
a) he's helping them overcome the loss of Austin and Goldberg. HHH is a company man, an upstanding citizen and a fine example to young children everywhere.
b) he wants to steal Benoits heat dammit! HHH is EVIL, and he even knicked that schtick from Kaientai.
c) filming got pushed back for reasons completely unrelated to HHH.
d) the dirt-sheets got it wrong in the first place.

Take your pick.
D. It just made me curious, after the millionth post that read "Well, HHH is leaving soon so......"

If it is Benoit vs. Kane....then it can still be a good match. Angle carried Kane to a beauty on SmackDown in I think late 2001. Benoit can do it, and he can get credibility for beating a monster. Just like HBK w/ Vader in '96.
"Whats your name? Dick Army. Hahaha, whats your wives name, Vagina Coastguard?"
It shouldn't be Benoit/Kane. We all know Benoit will retain and if he faces Kane who jobs to him that means Kane is the biggest monster on Raw who can't win the Rumble, can't beat the Undertaker, can't beat Edge and can't beat Benoit. Plus what would be the point in the Lita angle if Kane is going after the world title. I would guess at
World Championship Chris Benoit (c) vs. Chris Jericho
Hell in a Cell No. 1 Contendership Match Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
Edge vs. Batista
Intercontinental Championship Randy Orton (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin
"Winner Gets Lita" Match Kane vs. Matt Hardy
Tajiri vs. Garrison Cade
Womens Championship Victoria (c) vs. Gail Kim
Eugene vs. Sylvan Grenier or add William Regal and Rob Conway in there.
I'm just happy to see a Raw world title match on PPV that doesn't involve HHH, what given that this hasn't happened since the title was brought in almost two years ago and all. Benoit will get a decent match out of Kane, and as has been said, it will give him some extra cred. As good a match as Benoit/Jericho would be, I think five weeks is too short a time period for Y2J to go from getting beaten down by Tyson Tomko to world title challenger. There's gotta be something to happen in between, something more than Jericho saying he wants a title shot in passing before calling Matt Hardy to the ring for the Highlight Reel.

It's simple...have Jericho play the dickhead-tweener for a few weeks by being a thorn in Benoit's side.
And with Jericho, the beauty part is he can still do that and get over as a face at the same time.
Although the one problem with that match as a PPV event is that it's a massive highway interchange of storylines that begs for it to be booked as a non-finish.

Yes, but to run the exact same match as the main event for six months doesn't send up red flags? I have yet to see a clear indication that HBK/HHH would draw more than, say, Benoit/Kane at the top of the card. At the very least, if they absolutely had to have one of the two "big names" in the main event, they should have done one-on-one Benoit/HBK II (with Benoit, y'know, WINNING, to put Benoit into said stratosphere).
They've done a great job establishing Benoit, but they seem to be putting the breaks on and preventing Benoit from getting into that stratosphere by not giving him a main event opponent for June. This could be a clear indication, if HHH/HBK sucks up more TV time, that they aren't going to give Benoit a real shot.
Benoit's reign seems to be all about the HHH vs HBK feud, which doesn't make any sense. It's like when Sting won the belt from Hogan and all they concentrated on was Hogan vs Savage. We all know how that ended up.
"It just made me curious, after the millionth post that read "Well, HHH is leaving soon so......""
The filming was pushed back to mid-summer. Since it's a WWE Films Production, I think it was in part because they lost all that talent at once so they wanted HHH around longer. Meltzer says it's not going to be much of an absence anyway, like 4 or 5 weeks (lose a cataclysmic HIAC as a writeout, wait a month, back in time to headline SummerSlam).
I don't see the point of Benoit/Kane if Kane is seemingly after Lita, and Benoit/Jericho just seems too... soon. It would be a good-excellent match, but Jericho just seems too wrapped up with Tristian to be going for the World Title in a month. Who would the crowd boo though? Hmmm..
I think Orton should defend the IC Title against Shelton Benjamin if he still has it. If he doesn't go with an Edge/Orton rematch. Of course this could mean another Edge/Christian feud.
World Heavyweight Championship-Benoit (c) vs. Jericho
Hell In A Cell- Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels (That should be the end of it
WWE IC Championship- Edge (c) vs. Christian
Randy Orton vs. Shelton Benjamin
Kane vs. Matt Hardy (with some sort of Lita stip)
Eugene & Regal (If Regal's healthy enough) vs. Rob Conway & Sylvian Grenier
I've read Kane vs Benoit too...My question is.....Why?! Kane is currently in a storyline with Matt Hardy. Does anyone know/want to predict how this is going to change?

Every PPV match they've had siince HBK's SummerSlam '02 return should have been "the end of it". The only way we're going to see the end of this fued is with a "Triple cage and ladders too, shotgun hanging from the ceiling match". Where the loser takes a shot to the head for the big finish. Then it'll be over. Untill then we're gonna see HBK vs. HHH dragged back up every six months until one of these guys either: A. Retire B. Switch brands or C. Suffers career ending injury or death.

Because retaining the title over Kane makes Benoit a top player.
And...
Because it hasn't been done before.
