Well, if you look at the last Shield thread, I called it. I'm not sure how I knew, I just had a hunch that Shane's girl took the money.
I'm glad to see the Decoy Squad (as amusing as they were) out of the Barn. I'm especially glad to see Vic and the squad back on the streets, rather than half in and half out.
The last shot with Aceveda in the car with a gun and a picture makes me want to see next week's show now. It's the best show I'm watching on TV.

Good call on Mara taking the cash. That revelation totally took me by surprise, since I thought they were going to drag out the suspense a little longer.
That scene with Aceveda spilling the beans to Aurora made me feel more uncomfortable than the actual rape scene a few weeks earlier. Benito Martinez better get noticed come Emmy Time.

I actually thought that was the worst & most not believable part of the show (along with his trip home to change).
Aurora's reaction to Aceveda's admission was just not real. Flip the tables for a second. If Aurora had just told Aceveda that she had been raped, would he have been disgusted by her & ask her why she "did it"??? That whole direction they took just pissed me off...

Other than that though, great show as usual. :-)
See, that's why I liked that scene. Aurora acted that way because he's a man and a cop. As a man, he was supposed to fight off his attackers. She had no idea that he was helpless. Her being repulsed shows that guys don't get the same compassion, and that somehow his manliness is tarnished by the rape. You don't ask a woman "How could you let this happen?" do you?

To me the best part of the show was Vic getting everything he wanted by playing everyone against each other. Shane's girlfriend is going to have something coming to her once Vic finds out. Only thing I'm not really digging now is the way Vic is reacting to his sons tutor moving in on his wife and family. The way Vic has been portrayed in the past you would think he would have kicked the guys ass by now and found another tutor. Next week it looks like the strike team is going to find out about Aceveda, I can't wait.
Once again another great Shield. Vic making everything work his way was great to watch. I am shocked that is was Shane's chick that took the $$$, I also think something will happen or someone will find out and it will end up being Shane and his girl vs The Strike Team. For next week's episode, I hate to think that Aceveda is gonna make that guy suck his in return for making him do it. But eye for an eye.
