Ok, my questions are does anyone know the latest on Brock Lesnar and the NFL, like if hes been picked up by a team yet, and also, why the hell is Goldberg still on the WWE Raw Superstars site at wwe.com?
"Smackdown Video games is the only way Big Show can play me, Cuz i bring championships home, just like Tom Brady"
I love John Cena :)

The Chiefs wanted him but he declined cause he still thinks he has a chance with the Vikings. Lesnar runs a 4.66/40, has a 42 vertical leap, and squats 900 lbs. He's got the potential.
Goldberg is still listed on the RAW page because supposedly he left on OK terms with WWE and might be a chance somewhere down the road he might return.

I totally agree with DaRipper that Lesnar is daft for passing KC's offer, but not quite for the same reasons. It's not a question of playing for a Super Bowl contender...Lesnar should be happy to get a shot with ANY NFL team, even if it's Arizona or Detroit. Holding out for his hometown team is pretty arrogant for a guy with no college experience.

I don't think Brock cares about winning, that could be why he turned down the chiefs. I think he would rather go to a team that would play him as I doubt he wants to spend a whole season on the bench.
The Chiefs just invited Brock to their rookie mini-camp, and he passed because he's still in training for his workout for team scouts in a few weeks. He's hoping to play at home in MN, but apparently said he was honored by the invite he got and that the Chiefs are up at the top of his list (the Packers were also mentioned).
I quote from Anthony Evans, of UK Magazine Power Slam. He has been closely following Lesnar's movements recently.
"...And with Lesnar being 26 years of age, and almost an entire decade removed from his last competitive football game in college, it will take a maverick coach to roll the dice and give Lesnar a chance. Wrestling fans know that Lesnar is a physical wonder; but, even if an NFL coach were to recognise that also, he would still have to train him to play world-class football.
Two American football experts who I consulted believe it would take Lesnar two-to-three years to learn how to adequately "read" the flow of play on the field. Former amateur wrestler Stephen Neal managed to make the transition to football (he's with New England Patriots), but no other examples exist.
Furthermore, as ex-NFL legend Gary Anderson once put it: "Its hard to get out of bed for your morning run when you're in silk pyjamas". It should be noted that every football coach will be keenly aware that if the going gets too tough for Lesnar or if he misses the seven-figure salary he earned in WWE, he could easily trade his football shirt for his wrestling trunks and be back in the ring two weeks later.
Most NFL teams hold training camps in July. Even if Lesnar does receive one or two invitations (there are already rumours circulating that he has had an intermediate offer from the Chiefs), the chances are that he'll have been rejected by August. If that does come to pass, he could be walking down the aisle at Summerslam."
I don't know how credible this is or not, but this is the most recent news that I've seen on Lesnar (from prowrestling.com):
More and more teams are apparently taking interest in Brock Lesnar's intentions on working in the NFL full time. Last month many teams weren't taking Lesnars quest to play in the league seriously. Lesnar is set to be watched by many NFL scouts on May 17... Expect to hear more about Lesnar in the coming weeks as Sports Illustrated is planning a feature story on his quest to make an NFL team.
If coaches can take track stars and turn them into kick returners/wide receivers they have a chance at taking Brock and making him into something. He's young and has a lot of size. The NFL loves a hoss more than Vince, but doesn he want to tough it out on the practice squad for a year or two learning the ropes?

That does occasionally work, but if they have some sort of football background. There HAVE been very good FB players who were ALSO good amateur wrestlers, Jim Nance (not the TV guy, the Patriot RB) being one of them.
Preston Pearson was a very effective FB player who ONLY played BKB in college.
Renaldo Nehemiah (hurdler) was a terrible WR project for the 49ers.
