So, Max Kellerman's new show premiers May 10th on FSN. It's been slightly obvious that Kellerman's departure has caused the quality of 'Around The Horn' to drop. Reali is Stat Boy and his hosting abilities are deplorable.
I still enjoy watching due to Mariotti and IT'SWOODYPAIGE, but Kellerman's absence is painfully apparent.
Here's a piece from FOX's Press Release concerning I, MAX:
"While the format for the fast-paced show is still in the formative stage, the central piece of I, MAX will be Kellerman delivering instant analysis on the sports news of the day through his outspoken and insightful opinions. A key element of the show, that promises to be "funny, smart and engaging," will be the use of interactive technology. The show will also feature periodic in-studio or remote visits from prominent figures in the sports world.
Joining Kellerman as one of the on-air personalities of I, MAX is Bill Wolff, who is also the executive producer of the show. Wolff, who was the disembodied voice and coordinating producer of ESPN's Around The Horn, now takes a significant on-camera role alongside Kellerman.
Also joining the show as a regular contributor is Denver Post sports columnist Woody Paige, who worked closely with Kellerman and Wolff as part of the Around The Horn team."
