Hey, that's nifty! Click on a plane, and it gives you the flight info.

I'm flying out of the San Jose airport in a month on my way back to Maine. This is most interesting.

Part of my time back there will be spent very near to you, in Windsor. What's the weather looking like back there anyway? Muggy? Nice? Noseeum's and black flies all over the place?

A month from now? The black flies will be thick as fog! You are correct, sir, Windsor is the next town over from China in beautiful Central Maine. Could be 40 degrees, could 90 degrees. You just never know!

To add a complete non-sequitur, my neighbor's brother goes to school in Maine, and told me that there are some hardcore surfers at his school - and the best surf is in the winter. They literally get in below freezing water to hit overhead and double overhead waves.

Just thought you'd all like to know....

Damn. I got eaten alive by those things on a camping trip 15 (!) years ago, when my grandparents lived next to the Charleston correctional facility. I hope its closer to the 40 degree side of things, its only gotten above 90 twice so far out here, but it's not going to get better any time soon.

I find it simply amazing when you go to the LAX monitor, then zoom the map out.

Just how many planes can be over the extents of LA at once???

There must have been about 30 little planes on the map.

I am sure it is the same in all big cities, but seeing it is kind of ... Wow.

I caught a chopper at Le Guardia, but it must have been landing, since it was only on the map for > 30 seconds.

You know, I THOUGHT that was it, but I also thought "if that WAS it, how come I haven't done it yet?" because that's quite a showpiece. :)
