Marcel Shipp isn't a bad option for them, they just have to commit to getting him the ball.
(Not Bob Kohm)
In the context of baseball, the use of drugs hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, the use of alcohol hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, womanizing hurts whom? Maybe the wife of the player? In the context of baseball, felonies are crimes against society, not against baseball. In the context of baseball, gambling is the only crime against baseball.
Gambling, in the context of baseball, is a capital offense and Rose has richly earned-- hell, he agreed to-- his death sentence. Let him hang.

I think they're ok they could probably pick up a RB late in the draft. Shipp has potential and Emmitt is a year older but can still go in short spurts( He's not a starter anymore)

But does Emmitt accept this fact? Dennis Green could make a statement to the vets (and maybe even Cardinal fans) by releasing Emmitt. If he does this, he lets everyone know that no one is sacred.
I, too, though Marcel Shipp showed enough to deserve a good shot at being the main back.
Green had a talk with Emmitt and he accepts being the #2 guy. What choice does he have? Everyone knows there is no gas left in the tank. If he gets cut I can't see any teams interested in him.
Are you a professional halfwit or talented amateur?
Well last year the only two teams that were interested were Arizona and Tampa Bay. Tampa got Garner so they don't need him, so it looks like he is in Arizona or nowhere.
And I don't think that any other team will take him over a young back in the draft.
I'd stick with Shipp for a couple more years, to see if the rebuilding is a success with him. I'm surprised they're keeping Emmitt around, although he is a good veteran to keep in the locker room.
Did anybody catch this documentary on the Raiders when they were in L.A.? Wow it was pretty powerful stuff. I mean I knew the Raiders were pretty big back then with rappers like the N.W.
