I, to this day, want to know how they made black tar come out of Mean Gene's cranium. Right there is an odd moment.
On the morbid side of things, and I hope I don't get any heat for this. The night after Pillman died, I didn't have the net, didn't get the PPV the night before, had no clue. When Vince came out saying Pillman was dead, I thought for sure Pillman would come out of the crowd and kick Vinces ass. Then they did the interview with his wife, which even threw me further onto the side of skeptic. It wasn't til the end of the show did I realize it was real.
For me, Stone Cold and Booker T brawling in the grocery store, and laying waste to the joint, will always be a classic, albeit odd, moment in wrestling.
So sayeth Randy Stilton, the real Stinky Cheese Man!
(I'm told that, in the UK, my name is actually hilarious.)

"Price check on jackass."
Bwah.

Lord, yes.
And I never got to see the teddy bear burning. That sounds awesome. :(

Didn't Shango make the Warrior 'vomit' black liquid in one of their matches? I remember reading that somewhere.

There absolutely MUST be a reply involving Kevin Sullivan on this thread. I can't recall exactly what the name of the angle or person was (some kind of higher power) that introduced The Giant (Paul Wight) as the person Sullivan was grooming to take out Hogan, but those little vigenettes were very weird. The master type guy, whoever he was, was sufficiently strange and Sullivan had the usual manic look in his eye.
There has to be stuff even weirder from FCW. He was truely out there in those days.
Right after I saw this topic, one thing came to my mind and I think that it's odd enough to be said. It happened for like five months ago. SmackDown!, The Big Show and Eddie with the huge truck. The truck was full of s**t and Eddie showered it over Big Show.
I really do pity those people who were close to the entrance. They probably didn't wait to see (and smell) anything like that. It actually reminds me of Kurt Angle's milk-truck-scene that happened a few years ago.
There are no polarbears in Finland. There aren't that much reindeers than you may think. The temperature isn't always 30 degrees below zero. But we have the Santa Claus, though.
I don't know if this moment qualifies as "truly odd", but the Austin/Pillman Home Invasion/Gun sequence at the end of one of the more controversial episodes of Raw is War left me with my jaw dropped. The look in Pillman's eyes, the gun going off, the screen going to snow. I sat there like Ron Simmons. "Damn!"

That was one truly fucked up moment in WWE history, though I have the feeling it wasn't actually sewage in the truck. I don't see the HAZMAT folks being real comfortable with letting McMahon spew body fluids around an arena packed with people.

Watching Eddie Guerrero spraying Big Show with shit in front of 20,000 people definately qualifies as odd in my book.

I can't believe no one has mentioned any of the McMahon moments. My favourites (in oddness) would definetly be:
Anyone kissing Vince's ass - I mean, what on earth is he thinking?
Vince beating up his kids - while Shane was still kind of acceptable, the match with Vince vs. Stephanie in No Mercy was seriously disturbing. And I still can't believe they got the biggest crowd reaction of that night.
Definitely Show and Lesnar with the ring collapse.
Trish barking like a dog.
Killer Khan breaking Andre the Giant's leg. Andre was unstoppable back in the day.
Sexual Chocolate Mark Henry questioning Mae Young giving birth to a WHITE hand.
Vincent Kennedy McMahon winning the WWF Heavyweight title...
Pat Patterson leaving the ringside announce table to take up GOMER aka Sgt. Slaughter on his challenge to collect $10,000 for breaking out of the COBRA clutch - Patterson was retired at the time after all...Start of a GREAT feud!
Head Cheese.
Austin dropping HHH in the car with the forklift.
Puppy on a pole.
Skid marks.
One of Godfather's Hoes winning the hardcore title.
Mass Transit
Funaki and Takeshi (Kai en Tai) getting a tag-team victory and the celebration they were allowed...
Crash vs. Hardcore Holly on top of a 18-wheeler...
I was just watching an .mpeg of the Undertaker's debut, and although minor, it's still weird.
After Dibiase announces him as his mystery partner and 'Taker comes out with Brother Love, the commentator (I want to say it's Gorilla Monsoon, but I'm probably wrong) says "Look at the size of that ham hock! Check out those drumsticks!"
...
I mean, I know. I get it. Taker is big.
But.. ham hock?!
Edit:
As for a question in the original post, Mankind's original gimmick was that he was a rich piano prodigy as a child who was shunned by his parents and sent to live in the sewers which turned him into a demented freak...
Thank you for that! I don't think I ever knew what the original premise of Mankind's gimmick was. Makes much more sense now.
The first night after WWF bought WCW...seeing Vince open up Nitro, and the Raw/Nitro simulcast...leading to the double box w/ Vince and Shane.
The end of the Monday Night Wars...surreal to the max, yo.
Star wipe, and...we're out. Thrillin' ain't easy.

Yep. That gets my vote as well.
As for weirdest thing I've seen live...... Seeing VKM dance around with a cowboy hat on and his pants around his ankles, spanking his own ass, in OKC after JR joined the KMA Club.
